I saw a weird comment (about your videos changing) as I turned on this video to listen to on the way to work. I'm on my computer now and I wanted to reply but I can't find that comment anymore (and I hope you don't see it either). I just want to say... I appreciate you. You have been such a great example of resilience and flexibility through so much "LIFE"! It really shocks me how you manage to keep the 2 a week schedule despite pretty much everything that has happened over the last 5 years... (vanlife was a weird pandemic rabbit hole for me). I don’t see anything negative ever on your channel, it’s always positive and I love watching the wholesome content as it reminds me of tv shows when I was a kid. Thank you, Alli, for mentioning and choosing vertical handrails. It makes me crazy to notice the new look in handrails is often horizontal, as you mentioned, a ladder in the eyes, of not only toddlers, but kids of all ages. Safety rails, should never be used , or seen as, as a play thing. I’m also impressed that Trent chose a higher version. Your examples may help others realize the wiser choice when it’s their turn to decide. ❤️

Just, FYI, our son rolled over for the first time when he was three months old - he was on a bed and took us completely by surprise. Don't know how old Leo was when he first did that, so maybe you are already on the lookout for it. Those sweaters you got for the kids are fabulous - great colors and patterns. Glad you are feeling better - sometimes life catches up with us and we just need to listen to our bodies and recharge.

Allie I love your purple hat. I wore one of those when I had a garden in Oregon. It was a life saver. When it got too hot and I still had work to do I’d get the hat wet and it would help cool me too. There are so many wonderful, generous people in the world, I love to see that in action when you do mail time.

On the off set bathroom vanity you can make the top fit end to end and on the small end make a fake front and on the other larger end have open shelves…just an idea.
For that awkward space between your new vanities and the wall, if it were me, I would welcome a narrow pullout style storage, much like they show for Van pantries, for extra bottles of shampoos, lotions,etc. I would kill for something like that so I could take advantage of sales.
I was thinking the same, a pull out pantry like shell to hold all the bottles of whatever and extra linens. I realize they aren't happy about the odd spacing, but IMO..it's a blessing !

Only advice I have to look into swimming pool tiles with raised relieve to prevent slipping in a shower. Water and soap make a slippery floor and you don't want to fall.
I have this kind of tiles and it has saved me many times from falling.

Babies' holding their heads up while on their belly is a milestone and is a big deal. Like the idea of vertical bars on the deck. I never considered that horizontal bars or wires could be so "inviting" as ladders to toddlers - great safety plan.

Everything is coming along great and it looks so good already and it's almost done. Can't wait to see what is coming next after this whole project is done. 23:50 😮My husband and I just ran into this same problem!! After cutting the drain hole and lifting the cut wood circle, couldn't have measured and placed it more centered! After a crawl with reciprocating saw, double joists hangers and a hurt back,(we are so long in the tooth 😂)we have our dream master bath with low step shower with seat. So excited to use...as soon as my lower back muscles heal!😂😂😂 Billy is a little mini Leo!!

The bottom landing you patched can be hidden, by coating the whole concrete with bonding agent, then mix up Portland cement with bonding agent, skim coat & light broom finish.

Hi guys!! I love seeing Billy's mile stones. My daughter had a still born some years ago, and I never take for granted seeing anyone's beautiful, happy, healthy baby. Please continue to update us on every single thing your precious babies do!! My heart rejoices in every one of them.
Maybe you could make a simple open 14" wide towel cube base at the right end of the vanity area. Leaving a 3" filler left and right. Youi could build a toe kit base on the floor so the openings line up. And if you are using a frameless cabinet, you could place flush overlays over the 3" fillers. Making them flush and even with the door faces. Always leave a 1/8" gap between door and/or overlays for door function clearance. (1/8" left, Right, top and bottom for frameless cabinets.) Standard overlay cabinets vary. If they are Inset doors you can ask them to extend the left and right stiles past the cabinet 4". And trim on site (scribe them against the wall for a perfect fit).
