It didn't look great but Frampton needed the rounds after being out for a while. Realistically he's only got one more shot to get back to world level though.
Carl really does have a beautiful repertoire of shots in his arsenal and he picks them beautifully.
Boxing commentary is awful in comparison to mixed martial arts, we all expected Frampton to win (obviously) but the commentary was ridiculous. When Traynor was landing more often than not they said nothing... but then when Frampton lands they then mention it. Lets just hope the judges arent able to hear the commentators as it could prove costly to someones career.

Some fairly decent mentions in 18mins I’d say. Pretty unbiased & fair commentary.
American commentary is awful & too hyped.
Boxing is way better than MMA.

@Paul Blackman there is no boxer currently with a belt round their waist that could beat any champion MMA fighter. Everyone from canelo who would get smashed to pieces by Israel Adesanya or kamaru usman. Jon Jones would bully every Cruiser weight and light heavy weight around. No boxer has the skill set to beat an mma fighter

Framton looked a little slow at the beginning but he took over by sucking him into a brawl, those body shots were tremendous! First time I've seen a win by the fighter tapping out and should be a win by submission.
Frampton looks a shadow of his former self. Don’t see him winning another world title.

alibabazs I like Frampton but his last few fights he hasn’t looked great and apart from Josh Warrington, who he lost to, they have not been world class fighters. His 33 and looks to be on a decline. Few more paydays and that will be it for him I think.

What a dreadful fight framton fighting a complete nobody and still making hard work of it he never was a elite fighter he is dreadfully overated.
Good to see one of a tiny fraction of handsome boxers (and a gentleman) defeat a typically ugly thug-like boxer by TKO. No offence to Traynor, of course: for all I know, he might be more civilised than he appears, based on his facial features.
