- ChatGPT is unstoppable - my latest creation is creating an Automatic Internal Linking script that replaces keywords with hyperlinked anchor texts on Google docs. This, when paired with the rest of the amazing SEO tricks I'll show you in this video. This video will also include detailed prompting instructions for ChatGPT, which will allow you to feed it brand-relevant information, and keep it talking about the topics you want it to talk about.

I have been trying for years to find a solution to this internal linking problem, and ChatGPT has literally saved me thousands of hours in the future of my content writing processes. AI writing is here to stay, and as long as you make helpful content - It will rank on Google. You can use ChatGPT to write content that will rank first on Google, if you know what you're dong.
Helpful content means content that actually has some use to a reader, meaning that they spend time on the page after clicking, and that the information actually furthers their knowledge in some way.
We can do this by adding details of our brand, of other brands, or of the products or services we are selling, into the prompt of ChatGPT
ChatGPT Prompting or prepping as I like to call it, is giving ChatGPT all of the information it needs to then, later, give us the information we need.
Helpful content also means formatting, so we should also prompt ChatGPT to format properly.
Process for ranking on Google with AI content

Search around general terms
Find one that applies to the article
Google the keyword
Take the first 5-15 "People also asked" questions
Open ChatGPT
For the first few instructions, we're going to prep ChatGPT. We do this by feeding it information about our business. For example our business does not make clothes themselves, so I mention this to ChatGPT. Ask if it understands after each question.
"Our brand does not make clothes themselves, we sell other brands, do you understand?"
"I want you to use normal article layout, and include bullet points, h2 and h3 titles, etc. do you understand?"
"I want to write an article today, with a keyword for title, do you understand?" title
Tell ChatGPT to use the people also asked questions as headings in the article
Create a script using ChatGPT to replace text with hyperlinks using Google Scripts
Make a link list which is applicable to every article you write
Get the keyword list by cleaning the data and tell ChatGPT to use those keywords in the article
Tell ChatGPT to give you a working title
Tell ChatGPT to give you a working meta description
Tell ChatGPT to give you a blog outline
Tell ChatGPT to write each section one by one
Run the internal linking script
Add images and products
Publish

Before we get into the process, as a bonus, here is an example of me creating a script that will automatically internally link for me, and here is the actual script, you can get it from the pastebin in the description.
Now, let's get into prepping and prompting ChatGPT to give us amazing unique content that will rank on Google
Open google ad word keyword planner
Search for how to dress for men
Sort by trending (+900%) and pick a high volume 100-1k keyword
Search the keyword on google (Click the people also asked options at the top, copy them)
Open ChatGPT
"I want to write an article today, with a keyword for title, do you understand?" title
Prep ChatGPT (example Our brand does not make clothes themselves, we sell other brands, do you understand? - explain the do you understand part)

Show the example chat of creating the script with ChatGPT to auto internally link
Show how the script works, with examples, where to input variables

I have never had to paste tons of links with descriptions in Excel sheet or any other data, which needed to be split.

This is exactly what I'm saying. There are people saying it makes bad and plagiarized content, but this is a question of prepping and prompting, not a question of how good the tool itself can be.
Yup. It gives you what you put into it. In order for someone get a "plagiarized" result they must just copy and paste questions from assignments and such. If you even show the smallest bit of personalization, it changes everything.

very cool but if a lot of people do the same thing it's a race to the bottom (quantity over quality methods), the main thing with ChatGPT I see is people who are lazy and don't want to write a report for school, they can just let AI do it for them. I even came across a ChatGPT video where they show you how to trick the AI Detector (which teachers use to identify if a paper/report was written by AI), you have to take the output from ChatGPT and then ask it to re-write it again with explicit instructions (sentence structures that are less symmetrical, he referred to it as 'bursty').

@@jc4evur661 yep. They say they will not penalize it BUT once they feel threatened I have no doubt. Using ChatGPT to write content IMO is extremely risky. To help write it is where I think its power lies. I've also not had a single piece written by ChatGPT really rank well so you still should tweak it if you do use it to write the content. It's help us write and cuts some time but overall IMO you still have to tweak and really make it work before hitting the publish button.

Thanks very much for this. I've understood most of it but you lost me on the part where the srcipt creates the links. I have the script added and it runs, and I know how to process a lot of Excel rows, but I don't see how it generates the keywords and links.

Same. Lost there. Also how those or any of the Apps scripts are connect to chatgpt.
I was able to figure out how this works for me. You create the script with the keywords and link. Have gpt spit out your blog or whatever. Paste it into Google docs. Use the extensions at the top to pop your keywords and links into. Execute it. Approve. Approve. Approve. And then go back to the doc and all your keywords will now be links. Copy. Paste to blog. Done.

Hey! thanks for this video, your work is amazing! Just a question... a little unsure about the script and what it does. Does it only work if you have an e-commerce store setup? What was the actual purpose of it? Was it to import a bulk amount of keywords into Chat GPT? That part was a little confusing.
Also, i got this error when trying to add the code "Syntax error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token '}' line: 1 file: Code.gs" any idea how to proceed with this?

How many links do you typically have in one article? Is it possible to have too many? Also, how do you go about creating the "addLinks" part of the script shown here: 6:20? Is it just a matter of creating a list of your website's pages and the target keyword/keywords associated with each of those pages? Do you do that manually or is there a way of automating that process?

@@jakabjacso141 You enter a keyword and destination for the keyword like an article youve wrote about it and put those into the code. When you have a ton of key words like him, it will scan your doc and hyperlink each of those keywords ONCE
I’ve been doing SEO since before that was even a concept. 1998 - when we were hand coding HTML with window’s notepad. I knew the AI was coming for me. Just not this soon! 😢

This is anecdotal, but I've been hearing some horror stories in my ad partner network. Honest bloggers are contracting VAs to write blog posts and they are (unknowingly) receiving content generated by chatGPT. Whole sites have been deprioritized and their average position tanked.
I use chatGPT to learn code and help me stylize my site, but I would never use it to generate copy.

Great video. I guess it's only a matter of time before people don't even search content on website they will just ask ChatGPT. So in a way this is a short term opportunity until AI cuts out the middle-man.
So people will just be making content for the AI to scape it and profit from the API fees, while the content creators (websites) lose traffic and revenue? Yeah, that sound sustainable for the web lol. I love how non tech people get all hyped and make these false assumptions. “Web 3 and bitcoin will take over banking and normal apps!!” - “NFTs are the future!!”… all hype. Another hype train.

Loved this... at least, being exposed to what ChatGPT can do and how to prepare and prompt it to give you more customized content. That was fantastic. Tried following along for my topic and all was going well until the app script. Couldn't get it to run on my Google doc. I know you're fast and I'm not. Something didn't work. I reviewed permissions and then nothing.
i had the same problem. i received an error and couldn't proceed. I wasn't sure what the script was actually for. Can't you just add keywords to a spreadsheet by importing them and then copy/pasting them into the Chat?
You can also write a simple script that will create a column of URLs automatically by using a GPT-3 API. If you have one column of brand names, you can just tell GPT-3 to read that name and put the URL for the brand in the second column automatically. In column A you have the brand and in column B you have a formula tied to the script that tells GPT -3 to read the brand, it will look up the URL, and paste the URL in the cell. how did you collect they keywords ? after running the script, he pretty much has a separate file full of keywords that already has a lot of links attached to each keyword. where did that file come from
U should have put it through a plagiarism checker.
Why?
In Chat GPT-4 don't ask "her" "do you understand?". Complete every prep prompt, close it with a "." and THEN tell her "Just confirm that you understand". If you just ask "her" if she understands, she will acknowledge and then she will immediately start writing the article. On the end of every PREP prompt just tell her "Just confirm that you understand". Cheers. Update: "Just" is not effective any more" Replace it with "Only". (="Only confirm that you understand")

Minus the fact that if you use this techinique and post your blog, you are going to get blacklisted. And good luck getting google to unblacklist your post, and I wish you even more luck when google starts cracking down even more, by completely removing your entire site from the algorithm because you are trying to cheating the system.
