Well, he did not play well, but the whole team did not play well either. The entire team should have been booed rather than just one player, as you said, so I agree with that.
In hindsight we should have waited until the summer to hire Amorim. Expecting these players to learn a new system during the season is a huge ask especially with hardly any time to train.
All we do is pass sideways, backwards , to goalie hit to rasmus , lose the ball and run back. Never seen a team pass so much without doing any running off the ball. No shot till 33 minutes. Bring on relegation!!
Absolute disgraceful performance from these players yet again, at this point I just feel very disconnected from this team at the moment because we are so awful. The events of the game were well predicted beforehand so it was no surprise what I saw. This is like a never ending story!! The problems go back a while and are not just with the players. Naturally fans will look at the playing staff and look to blame individuals. The whole picture must be looked at and it isn't good reading. Under ETH's leadership players were brought in for silly money on big wages and decent contracts. All would be good if things ran smoothly but the opposite has happened. Now Amorim has to pick up the tab. He has players that don't fit his system, he has people above him who wanted him in early as apposed to waiting until the summer. United will have to offload players and end up out of pocket. January will probably not be fruitful in the transfer window so I don't see a quick fix. There is too much noise surrounding the club at present and that needs to be addressed. I can't see any players wanting to come and play for United in its current state.
