I'm 23 and came across garage music 2 years ago, I don't know how to explain but I feel so at home when listening to this music, even though I was not even born/too young to enjoy it back when it came out. When I think of the 90's (being a 99' kid), I get so nostalgic and homesick in a good way.
@Simply_Jerry tbh, i never care about the genre that much, as long as it's not edm plastic pop trap crap bs sound and noises called music. but this mj vocal mix is declared 🇬🇧 GARAGE style. and the 12"copy is w/o a doubt worth two € i'd say. it's always fun diggin' in crates.
Honestly the intro is amazing, I wish the song was just the intro all the way through, the string bit isn't even half as good as that. I almost feel like putting it into logic, detecting BPM and looping the intro (when the drums kick in).
