This is the best Esmerelda Ive ever seen. Anyone whose playing Esmerelda should watch this for reference even if they are doing it in English or another language. Acting on point, singing flawless, and dance is immaculate. You can tell she’s really into it and not shy at all.

Ari Mountain Well its the original Stuttgart cast. The production is touring through Germany right now and it was in Berlin, Munich and now its in Stuttgart. But the cast is always almost the same, the only difference is that Esmeralda was played by Sarah Bowden in Berlin and Munich and now in Stuttgart the role is played by Mercedez Csampai, the one in this video
Also this is the production from the updated U.S. production. There was a Berlin production of this musical back in 1999, with a very different staging and some plot differences.
Ich war mit meiner Klassenstufe im GvND und konnte Mercedesz nicht sehen, da sie im Urlaub war😭 Ich konnte aber Sina Pirouzi sehen und sie war auch sehr gut als Esmeralda. Ich finde, dass Sina es nicht so dramatisch wie Mercedesz rüberbringen kann, aber trotzdem eine sehr gute Zweitbesetzung ist.

However, the union declared the musical too big to bring to Broadway as they would need a huge amount of people for the choir and I think they simply didnt want to have to pay that many people. So now different theaters around the world are performing it, some being professional. I'm planning on seeing a professional production this month and I cant wait!
