How are you coming along? Learning to skate doesn’t take long at all. Get to the rink once or twice a week for about 3 consistent months, and you’ll feel natural on wheels in no time flat. At our age though, I suggest you wear some type of protective gear at least for the first month, like knee or elbow pads.
@@prettyboy1970 LOL!!! I CAN SKATE! DON'T GET ME WRONG. I JUST WANNA SHOW OFF AND ACT A FOOL! I'M THE SAME AS MY PICTURE TO YOUR LEFT, JUST NOT ALL THE CONFIDENT DOING THE *MOST* AS THE KID'S SAY 🤗🤗🤗🤗😉
I used to have that ‘problem’, I’m in my 40’s now and I can cross my legs now… though, most of my other athletic abilities and strength are gone now. Lol
First I have to thank you. You brought me back to my days when I use to skate on the week ends. Love all the moves wish I can still skate like the way you skate
You are awesome! Thank you so much I have been looking for someone to show it properly and slow how to do the crossover short kick back always seem to have a problem with the crossover the way that you explain it I am so sure to get it thank you
I am working on this, it is 1;53 AM, CST. My wrists hurts though. I would have had to keep taking the wrists guards to keep moving it back to go over the steps.
Dude this is awsome! I have been skating for quite a while but watching this video I just learned some new material. I am going to practice some of these the next time im at the rink then I may add my own twist to a few of the moves ;-). Great video!
Just wanted you to know beginner's can't learn the words to the viedo cover up your feet!!! And you need to slow it down in the beginning, explaining what to do so so everyone can learn. Remember everyone don't learn the same. But I love what you do keep it up...
Pinky That's exactly what I'm trying to research now. I feel like my wheels have TOO much grip. Also, every jam skater I've been seeing has smaller diameter wheels
Pinky it depends on what you want to do because if you want to do out side skating the best thing to do is get a bigger squashy wheel that could also work on skate parks and roller rinks but if your only doing exclusively rink skating you get a smaller squashy wheel if you want to do more dance skating and roller derby you would get a harder smaller wheel. As for the boot of the skate a heel is better for rinks skate parks outside skating and dance skating like this but if your interested in roller derby you shouldn’t get a heel. If your a beginner you shouldn’t worry about the metal and I’m going to keep away from details. Make sure if your buying a skate the wheel roles because if it’s to cheap it won’t it’s better to just buy a quality skate because your might have to replace the wheels on the cheap one and that would cost just as much. I hope I came in some use to somebody because after 2 months you might have all ready found the information you needed!🙂😁
@@partyanimal5356 great info. I am looking to purchase skates for the rink. Is there a particular brand that's good? Also wheels, is there a name of the type or size? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Please invite me cuz I’m 55 and I’m addicted to skating.
This is so hard. I can't even stay in place and i keep rolling everywhere.
I think that when you can hit these moves, with confidence, take your skates off & chill for a minute. Eat something.
Love the training video. Please add more skating tutorials
Me too
In LA when people skate they cross their legs a lot while they’re skating. I could never do, my thigh are too muscular but it looks so dope!
I used to have that ‘problem’, I’m in my 40’s now and I can cross my legs now… though, most of my other athletic abilities and strength are gone now. Lol

This is more like choreography rather than moves.
The dislikes from ppl that don’t got rhythm
