@@franksanz1044they put my daughter and covid ICU because she was not a DNR. I was in and out of the covid ICU almost everyday. They didn't even have covers for the shoes I washed my hands and took my probiotics and all of the other things that I needed and I never once got it. I took her care of her at home without a mask or gloves either before she went to the hospital. I never got it. Because I wasn't scared of it!

Just got it for the first time. I am a respiratory therapist at a hospital so I have lived through and seen things nobody can imagine. This strain is aggravating as f*ck! Feels just like a sinus/ear infection with intermittent migraines. Had some joint pain too, lack of appetite, and malaise. I’m on day 5 and am now out of work without pay. Hope this goes away soon 😑

@@CursedCommentaries Haha! We didn’t have any additional measures at the time I started to become symptomatic. But of course it still remained that we had to wear an N-95 and subsequent full PPE in any room with a COVID patient. In the meantime while being out, they deemed an entire floor “outbreak” status a few days ago, which means we can’t even walk onto the floor without an N-95 and eye protection. As if the only place we can get COVID is on that particular floor in the hospital! Mind you, visitors can go on the floor without a mask of any sort.
I sense surgical masks being required hospital wide at any time, and probably mandatory testing. I’m feeling back to like 90%, so I’m back to work tomorrow. I’m sure there will be something new in place that will piss me off.

@@pc24681 It is flu-like. Lots of lethargy for most people and horrible headaches. Nasal congestion like a fukker, and I also got sinus issues. I work at a hospital, and the older folks are getting really bad pneumonia with it again and low oxygen levels. It’s worse than it has been for quite some time.
I got covid November 19, 2023. I was exposed again December 19. How soon can I get it again. I have only been vaccinated once in the beginning of covid because I work in a hospital and was mandatory.

I work in healthcare as a nurse in the ED, and this is no joke sadly. The increasing rates of covid, Rsv, etc that have been coming through the doors have been ridiculous. It’s been knocking out healthcare workers everywhere left and right again. The new variant definately doing nothing against the old vaccines. I have both initial vaccines on top of the booster and COVID still got to me just a few days ago. Stay safe everyone
