Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Speaking of keeping a tidy cabin….when I was 18, me and 3 friends shared an inside cabin and I was the only one that unpacked. It was a 7 day and for the first 3 days they just dug into suitcases and never had a place for anything. The pile of clothing on the corner chair was record breaking.

I know this is an old video but was just watching and saw your comment on the slightly melted ice cream tasting better. I own an ice cream shop in Southern California. Interesting fact is that this is your taste buds and ice cream working together. Ice cream will actually freeze your taste buds so it dulls your taste a little bit, so as the ice cream warmed and didn't freeze your taste buds as much so they were working better, thus changing the taste a little bit. Another fun fact is that gelato is typically served "warmer" than ice cream which can make it have more pronounced flavor to some people.

In Australia when I was younger there was an experience onboard the P&O Pacific Dawn (retired ship now) but they had a Walk the Plank experience. We would walk off the side of the ship on a pirate plank and lean over the edge backwards (attached to straps) and then walk back to the ship. Was a fun experience but kinda scary. If you looked straight down you would just see the bottom of the ship and the water!

You mentioned that in the US is the main revenue is the Casino and in Europe it is the bar. Not sure how true this is, perhaps you can confirm, but in the US been told there are not many casinos, have to go to certain places to gamble, where in the UK, we have lots of casinos in every town. So we can go to casinos at any time, so it’s no big deal

We’re glad to hear to like them, but we probably won’t be delivering internationally any time soon unless we can figure out an easier way. We were having a lot of trouble with customs fees and some being automatically routed back to us. Hope you guys have a great cruise!
