- All something that I like a lot and wear.
Fragrances in the video:
Etat Libre D’Orange - Tom Of Finland
Histoires De Parfums- 1740
Floris - Leather Oud
Knize - Ten
Tom Ford - F*n Fabulous
Salvatore Ferragamo - Testa Di Moro
Chanel - Antaeus
Great list! I love Antaeus and Tom of Finland, alos Knize Ten and Testa di Moro. I'll add Tuscan Leather and BelAmi
@@SquallMonteZ Glad to hear thank you! Yes I truly enjoy all of those a lot as well. Bel Ami never goes out of style
Atm one of the favorites has been Ferragamo Bright leather. Calming, fresh, clean and great for the price. It gives me a noticeable Läkerol Salvi pastille smell. If you know, you know 😅
@@paav Oh really? That sounds nice! Salvi happens to be my favorite Läkerol flavour 😀👌
Have you tried Ganymede (the normal version, not the extrait) by Marc Antoine Barrois? Leather newly interpreted. Fresh, always wearable, elegant, but modern. I love it. It's my go to.
@@edelkebap Oh yes I had a bottle of it quite early when it came out. It’s been now few years since I’ve smelled it but I liked the quite unique mineralic-leather aspect that worked really well as it had a lot of freshness to it as well.
Hey Timo, leather is my second fav scent accord after amber. My fav leathers include Cuir de Russie by Chanel, Bel Ami, Noble Leather by YSL and Ombre Leather.
@@Alwayscented Hello there! Great choices and I like that you especially mentioned Noble Leather as it doesn’t get mentioned much. I had a bottle of it like a year ago and it was really elegant take on what I remember being like a great mix of especially saffron and leather and had some bit sweeter element to it which worked really well
@tinkeviitanen I think it's one of the best leathers out there. It is a shame it was discontinued.
Try the Breat Britain Roja. That’s the greatest softest leather that I ever smell😊
@@vladyslavmd oh really? I will look up to it if I find a place where to try it :)
@@tinkeviitanenroja it’s a next step in parfums world:) I suppose you will find them)
@ I’ve had few Roja’s and tried many of them but I think Great Britain is one of those bit more expensive ones from them so I’m not sure if we have it here in Finland but I will check 👌
@@tinkeviitanen Finland is amazing country. With love from Kyiv)
@ thank you and all my best wishes to Kyiv! 😊
Great list! Quite a few blind spots for me, but of these I have tried and really enjoyed 1740 and Antaeus happens to be my SOTD
@@rubikscubed731 So many great leathers out there to explore. I just few days ago wore Antaeus and it just always delivers. Such a great one!
I often have problems recognising leather note in fragrances. The only perfume fragrance where I can really smell a photo realistic leather is Bottega Venetta pour homme edt. I love the smell of HdP 1740, but I get more the woody smokey aspect and something animalic at the start perhaps the leather note.
@@PakoBar2717 I sometimes struggle trying to understand if it’s a leather or more like suede in some perfumes😁
But yeah the whole Bottega Veneta Pour Homme is really good in my opinion and they all have that great leather aspect in them (except Essence Aromatique).
That's a classic list there - I know all except the Ferragamo and have or have had most of them (I'd take Tuscan Leather over F'n Fab though). Leather-based scents are my favourites - I'll offer up my 8 (I couldn't quite do it in seven). I'll go with you on Antaeus and Knize Ten, both of those heavy on rose/carnation/animalics are among the very best ever, for the Spanish leather style both Hermès Bel Ami and Santa Maria Novella Peau d'Espagne, for the green chypre leather Robert Piguet Bandit/Bandit Suprême and Grès Cabochard (the current reformulation is suprisingly good and cheap too) and for the truly dirty/sexy leather the original '74 Ted Lapidus Pour Homme and Homo Elegans Quality of Flesh.
@@samgrant83 Glad you liked the list thanks! I’ve always liked Tuscan Leather and had it few times but always in the end ended up selling it as I rarely felt like wanting to wear it for some reason. I think Piguet as a house doesn’t get enough recognition and Bandit is one I’ve never tried from them so I’m curious to check it out. Thank you for the other mentioned ones as well!
I like leather fragrances, but not necessarily love them... I will say 2 you oughta get your nose on is Hermès Bel Ami (one of the most authentic leather designer frags I've ever smelled) and Fend Uomo (a fantastic vintage leather frag). Both are from the 1980's
@@larrythompkins3319 I’ve actually had them both before and they are great! Have you tried the 1980’s Trussardi Uomo? I would suggest you to try it if you like those two, as it falls in to that style brilliantly in my opinon.
@tinkeviitanen I'll be on the lookout for that one. Thanks for the recommendation 😎
