Mine is the 50" alto windchime. I inadvertently lied though, we've actually had it for nearly 20 years. The sound is still pitch perfect and it's still beautiful.
This is on my wish list!!! Neighbors stupidly chopped down a bunch of trees exposing busy road; now they never go outside but i am going to love this hanging on my tree...
I bought a Westminster chimes several years ago via On- line through the Music of the Spheres, the packaging and the sounds are brands itself! I am glad that I bought it!
I absolutely LOVE my Music of the Spheres windchimes---have wanted some for a long time, so last year when I received an unexpected Christmas bonus, I purchased mine. So soothing and wonderful to hear on my front porch :)
I purchased the Westminster wind chimes for my sister, and they're beautiful. However, she lives in the mountains on 5 acres of land. As much as I would want these, I wouldn't subject my neighbors to chimes. Not everybody likes them, and when you're in a regular neighborhood, it could cause problems, and I can understand that because you're interfering with your neighbors quiet time and those chimes echo for miles. If you're not home to remove the clapper, on a very windy day, everybody around you has to listen to them non-stop.
Yeah, you have to be mindful of neighbors. We keep the clapper off at all times and only put it on when we're home, we're outside, and its a light wind.
My neighbor has one of this and sounds so beautiful and i hear it on my window, i was looking for buying one of these, like a big one, i have like 8 in all my house, and all my neighbors has a lor of them, i love the sound
so if you needed to temporarily turn them off per se...could you just remove the windcatcher? also can they stay outside in the rain? i like the cat addition :)
+Reeve Baily Yes, if you remove the windcatcher it would take a very strong gust of wind to make them chime. I've gotten so I just leave the windcatcher off all the time and only attach it on days I know I'm gonna be outside a lot enjoying the weather. The strong Spring wind on the East coast can make the chimes too noisy. While in summer time, with a gentle breeze, makes it just right. (except for when the thunderstorms come through) Yes, I keep mine outside all year round. Way too heavy to move once you get it in place.
Those are tuned to Chinese notes. I'm gonna make different sets that will only blow at a certain windspeed. When it's real noisy, I'll know how fast the wind is blowing.
I just seen these at the hardware store, I favored the Pentatonic one however the one I seen is smaller in comparison and has a much higher tone (very uplifting) opposed to yours making me feel more down in thought.
It's not making anyone "down in thought" it's simply appealing to a different portion of the body. The feet is the lowest point and above the head is the highest point. A minor frequency like A flat minor would make you feel down in thought. Its about the type of note its playing, not if its a low or high version of that note.
For precision milled metal that is carefully balanced for weight and for resonance to produce five perfect notes, and made from materials designed to be outside in the weather for decades? Maybe you need to evaluate your standards for how much quality actually costs. That is a very reasonable price for the engineering and artistry that goes into making a lifetime product with such fine musical quality.
Then, you should by all means make everything on your property completely silent while you are assaulted by all manner of dogs barking, domestic squabbles, children playing, lawnmowers running, and in short, life happening. One neighborhood environment is completely different from another, and if I could afford it, I would own ten of those sets to give me comfort from the 110 Db rap music playing from the cars at the stoplight in front of my house.
Please compare the sound of CORINTHIAN BELLS wind chimes, in even the 56 or 65 inch for tone and ring time. The Music of the spheres tone is extremely flat, clunky and muted in comparison. Google CORINTHIAN BELLS, have a listen, then write me back, I’d love to hear your thoughts then. L
I personally love the sound, takes me back to when my grandma was still around and when the spring or fall season comes around, the wind going through the trees and the deep wind chimes always calmed me. I loved them as a kid and at 22 I still love them
I absolutely LOVE mine. Have had them over 10 years.
Is your a 90 inch windchill?? What size?

Plant some Hybrid Willows or fast growing clumping bamboo and water well for a few months. Some grow 12 feet or more per year!

Wish you had recorded hours of this! I would put it on for ambient sound as I'm working.
You need to get a wind chime! :0)
I got an awesome set for around 80 dollars at Costco
Nah I skip it, the sound is good but he needs the right equipment to capture the sound...

Santa will bring me one...or four!
Where did you bought this from? What's yours called? I wanna get one too.
I'm pretty sure my parents have this model in one of the trees by the edge of their backyard. It's quite nice, and our kids love going over to see it!

How refreshingly Respectful?
How sad that is the case in today's "MY World"....
Thank you for the glimmer of Hope!!!
Respectfully, Batia
Wait. For MILES? Really? Now I'm intrigued.
Those are the ones I'm looking for with the deep rich should!!!
I’m a windchime sounds lover
Man, walmart was closing these out the other day. I got three of them for $19.95 each.
That's a crazy good deal.
2:48 The cat is mesmerized.
Soo beautiful sound
What material is and sizes of each pipes?
I have the soprano, mezzo, and alto pentatonic scale and need to get the alto and bass eventually.
Is this chime really 630 something bucks?
@@marianamontana3345
Nope, now it's $760 BUCKS.... : /
Kindly tell me, how much wind chimes cost?.. Plz
As of March 20th, 2022 they're $760 bucks....
@@analyticalhabitrails9857 thank you sir.. 🙏

I bet the neighbors know my name
I was interested in getting a set, but I think the neighbors might not like them lol.
Look exactly like ours. I enjoy them.

Are these in the major or minor pentatonic scale?
Sounds like it would be D major pentatonic to me
Thank you for posting. :))
Can you or do you know someone that can make music out of different wind charms?
i would suggest checking out Four Tet
Okay thank
beautiful
If you're skeptical, MOTS are worth every penny...and then some.

Found small to medium to large to ex large at a estate sale they wanted retail price for them . 100 to 200 buck

More down in thought, eh?
No logic in sight

If higher pitch automatically means its more uplifting go buy a dog whistle. Its so high pitched you cant even hear it. That should be mega uplifting
Wow time to meditate!
I prefer Corinthian wind chimes.
Same xD
Very nice :)
$648.00
Nope. On this day that sent you a reply, it's $760 bucks....
@@analyticalhabitrails9857 Inflation? When I checked approx. one year ago, it was $648.
It is not worth $638 That's ridiculous

wind-catcher thingy? really?
I personally love wind chimes but would never have them outside when I had neighbor that close. Its quite inconsiderate.
..say that again..
there is something inherently wrong with people who don't enjoy windchimes. I put mine up in every yard AND porch. I pay a mortgage to do so.

Better than hearing the neighbors bitch at their kids or each other!!!
Beter then neighbors dogs barking 24/7
And you can tied your windchimes at windy days and evenings
neighbors hate this one small trick!
WORSTI’ve EVER heard, thanks for the heads up on THIS brand ! L 😱

Corinthian bells are fine, but not nearly as nice as these.
bunch of cowbells
not impressed
630$ on this crap lmao! i hope the neighbors make a complain on you because of all the annoying sound.
