  • Frost Dates are VERY important, and specific to your growing zone and zip code. But you also need to focus on what you are planting. Are you planting beans, or tomatoes? In this video I explain how to calculate frost dates and also how to decide when to plant seeds indoors, or whether they should be planted outdoors, directly in the ground.     excellent video!
    i cant wait to play outside...for me mothers day is earliest for cold tolerant things like peas to start...things like peppers need the ground thawed so mid june

      oh wow...very short growing season. I won't complain then, I'm in zone 6. Happy growing (indoors)!

    I live in the Yukon, and I checked my growing season as lasting 3.5 days. Perhaps I should have a summer home somewhere south ?
