Frost Dates are VERY important, and specific to your growing zone and zip code. But you also need to focus on what you are planting. Are you planting beans, or tomatoes? I live in the Yukon, and I checked my growing season as lasting 3.5 days. Perhaps I should have a summer home somewhere south ?
