- Sims Luxury Builders brought to life the rustic yet elegant feel the owners desired for this custom home in The Woodlands, Texas. Inside the home, rock walls with brick accents were coupled with cleanly finished plaster walls. Hand-hewn antique pine timbers, poured-in-place countertops, and shaker style cabinetry were used to further enhance the home’s pastoral yet refined design. Outside, this extraordinary home features not one, but three exceptional outdoor living areas. The spacious rear loggia takes full advantage of the views of the pool, lake, and wooded area beyond, while two courtyards provide the homeowners with a more intimate outdoor setting.
“Our homeowners wanted to accomplish a unique combination of old-world charm and modern design,” says Chris Sims, President of Sims Luxury Builders. “We truly enjoyed making that happen with this project.To this day, this home remains one of our favorites.”
