its also mandatory for the insurance company, all healthcare insurance company's to register you and take you in as a client, what ever your age is, from what ever disease you suffer from
What a relief! Thanks for sharing. Here in the US insurance companies call your medical history "pre-existing conditions" then use that info to deny or up charge you. Sad.

Indeed get a bicycle as soon as possible and learn to ride it you will love it it's also very healthy.

Have enough money, and a betaalkaart with a PIN code. And learn Basic Dutch :). And learn how to ride a bike.
Get a bike(bicycle). Get a very good chainlock to lock it around poles etc.. Especially when it is an electrical bike(bicycle) Yes bikes get stolen here.
So maybe get a third lock (or/and good insurance).

Absolutely! Always lock it to something. Yes, bikes get stolen here...but my bike also got stolen in the tiny little college town I lived in that has almost no crime 😂 It can happen anywhere.
Get an ugly old bike, and a big lock & chain..
What ever you do, don't go to Amsterdam :)
