Well I don't know why people call Indians for curry I mean iam an 21 year Indian living in India and there are days that we eat curry after weeks /months like don't get everybody thinking 90's about India we eat various different food which are most tasty and is definitely not curry!!!
It is not a bad thing tbh, each country is famous for a type of food: Korea-kimchi, Italy-Pasta, America-Hamburger, India-Curry, etc. At least, I do not get offended when people mention pasta and pizza wherever I go, on the contrary I am quite proud of it. You shouldn't take it too seriously :)
