I never liked the entire dark brotherhood team, questline and felt gross doing the whole thing. Even once you complete it all they never go away. I feel much better doing away with them all and continuing the game
The Empire isn't falling apart. The Southern border is secured and fortified, a Legion is gathering at Pale Pass to clean the Stormcloaks and the Emperor wants to die because HE ordered the Black Sacrament to be done in the first place, to have someone (probably Rexus) be named Emperor after him with a clean reputation and a young, strong and capable Emperor
@@kindaedgy3548 They signed the treaty because they needed to recover. The Empire was exhausted, but you have to remember that humans recover way faster than elves. 20 years have passed, and in those years a new generation of Legionaries, mages and generals has risen to take the place of the previous one, while the Thalmor can't hope to recover their mages, who take hundreds of years to master their art. General Tullius tells the Dragonborn after the Siege of Windhelm that the true war is about to start... this time against the true enemy. @@shadowstrider5033 your not wrong, the thieves guild and most of the guild questlines in skyrim don't make a whole lot of since. The most concrete to me was The Companions.
I really like the Oblivion dark brotherhood, it has some of my favorite quests the contract that you get to kill faelian, Valen dreth. Skyrim really didn't have any good contracts. Nothing that felt as satisfying as killing Valen dreth or as good as whodoneit.
I destroyed the dark brotherhood for multiple times until one of my Nord character was assaulted by a dark brotherhood assassin who got sent by that Astrid b**ch, so I started the quest, "innocence lost" and after being dragged to that shack, I immediately killed her and freed the captives.
@[ . ] it will eventually pay for itself, due to those torture victims you get. With between 4000 and 8000 Septims every few weeks, you'll get the money back.
So question here, can the dark brotherhood even deny a contract? Even if it's the emperor and it's bad for the future of the political scape of the entire world?
Funny enough- it’s Ironically Astrid that is pro-imperial by wisening up and stopping the initial Emperor’s execution by alerting Commander Maro (yes I’m aware he’s imperial too, but not of the legion, just of the Emperor’s guard) to also prolong the Dark Brotherhood’s existence… even if she doomed it by killing the guy’s son. Still, she kept the leader intact.
In the end the listener (the player) starts rebuilding the brotherhood with Babette and Nazir who confessed their sins and vile choices against sithis and the night mother. So by the time of the brotherhood in the dawnstar sanctuary they r rebuilding back up to the dark brotherhood we all know and love. Plus both festus and vezeera admit to the player that Astrid needs to change her ways of leadership. So whatever you do don't destroy the brotherhood.
Actually that's something that's like loop. You still get encounter on them. Ceciro ok the other hand got no clue cause on the first run in whiterun you will meet ceciro. The questions arise if you end the dark brotherhood. Can you glitched to the dawnstar sanctuary and be attacked by him
Is it possible to destroy the DB after you joined them? I would not want to waste all the goodies and that you find in the sanctuary when you join. Also, the Blade of Woe.
I decided to destroy the Dark Brotherhood, because they’ve sent three assassins after me, so why would I join them? When Astrid gave me the option to kill one of the hostages to join them, I just simply told her “fuck you” and killed her instead.
Wasn't the whole plot of oblivion that without a sentiment on the throne, Nirn was vulnerable to daedric invasion? Can't help but think that killing the emperor can NOT have good consequences for the world at large.

I did not even know that you could destroy the dark brotherhood before i joined it and complete the whole questline
Fun vid. Astrid is cool and has a sexy voice, but admittedly so does Cicero. I would hate to miss out on all the murders, though.
I never liked the entire dark brotherhood team, questline and felt gross doing the whole thing. Even once you complete it all they never go away. I feel much better doing away with them all and continuing the game
Give you a reason? Let me finish counting my gold and I'll get back to how many reasons I can give
The emperor actually wants to die. He gladly accepts his death when you reach his quarters. The empire is falling apart
@@kenobi6257 guess so. I guess I assumed it was because of the treaty they signed with the thalmor
If Hammerfell joins the Empire in the war and having in count that the Thalmor lost the Orb of Vaermina... the Thalmor should be fucked
@@kenobi6257 yeah I kinda got the first point before, it's just that my logic was that the empire retreating meant they lost too many men, and could no longer fight back. But after what you explained, I'm pretty convinced they'd be able to eliminate the thalmor
@@kindaedgy3548 Well, thank you ^^. TESlore's videos about the Great War help a lot with this, a lot of people forget that the Empire signed the peace after a massive victory at the Battle of the Red Ring
*_Sithis wants to know your location_*
Have you considered that the Emperor himself may actually set up the contract to be killed from behind the scenes?
I joined them once, in my first playthrough, and in every playthrough after that I've destroyed them.
Long live the Emperor.
You know, a nice purge just might be what this sanctuary needs.
The corrupted empire needs darkbrotherhood to make it pure again, Titus knows it and arranged his own assassination or at least He knows its necessary for the empire, join the brotherhood that is how history works.
The funny thing is I never joined the dark brotherhood. And then seeing how easy it was to kill them all they were loosy assassins anyway.
Because poor little Aventus
Thieves Guild all the way!
At least the Thieves Guild has a no-kill policy. BUT, they are still thieves.
True. Hail Nocturnal!
The most nonsensical b.s. storyline in the game.
@@shadowstrider5033 your not wrong, the thieves guild and most of the guild questlines in skyrim don't make a whole lot of since. The most concrete to me was The Companions.

I refused to become a furry, so......
I really like the Oblivion dark brotherhood, it has some of my favorite quests the contract that you get to kill faelian, Valen dreth. Skyrim really didn't have any good contracts. Nothing that felt as satisfying as killing Valen dreth or as good as whodoneit.
u literally kill the empeoeor
Why would I kill astrid who is my second fav character besides delphine
Do any mods improve the destroy the dark brotherhood quest?
>Why you should destroy the Dark Brotherhood
>Hard decision
Mephala: "lol"
Very good editing on this video btw
Just so you know, your love of Cicero got you the 700th like on this video.
Wait the biggest question is does ceciro attacks us if we Dovahkin end it. Never seen ceciro after the termination of DB.
I wish the Vampire girl in the DB would do contracts ha ha. Imagine seeing her take out an adult ha ha ha.
Vampire girl wants to know your location.
If u find the(worn gloves. ) That do dubal back stab damage in chant them they can have 3 in chant meets on them.
Can I get shadowmere even if I destroy the dark brotherhood
Wallenby The first probably not
If on PC through console cheats only.
How do u do cinematics on skyrim?
Only brotherhood members worth their salt are Cicero, Festus, and Gabriella. Only three who actually give a crud about the old ways
3:01 just my type
I destroyed the dark brotherhood for multiple times until one of my Nord character was assaulted by a dark brotherhood assassin who got sent by that Astrid b**ch, so I started the quest, "innocence lost" and after being dragged to that shack, I immediately killed her and freed the captives.
Is 3000 Septims worth it? Would you rather have 20,000 Septims instead?
@[ . ] it will eventually pay for itself, due to those torture victims you get. With between 4000 and 8000 Septims every few weeks, you'll get the money back.
Yeah 3,000 septims is worth not being an edgelord
Will it hurt Cicero if I destroy the dark brotherhood?
Ka Stewy no
Thank God.
I hope so
So question here, can the dark brotherhood even deny a contract? Even if it's the emperor and it's bad for the future of the political scape of the entire world?
They can only deny a contract if it breaks one of the Tenets.
If you hate Astrid shoes off
Im standing in front of Arentino residence, watching thid video wondering what should i do after 7 years of playing..😅
So is every target pretty much innocent? Like vittoria is not evil right?
Welp. I didn't think you could, but you convinced me
Funny enough- it’s Ironically Astrid that is pro-imperial by wisening up and stopping the initial Emperor’s execution by alerting Commander Maro (yes I’m aware he’s imperial too, but not of the legion, just of the Emperor’s guard) to also prolong the Dark Brotherhood’s existence… even if she doomed it by killing the guy’s son.
Haha sword go swosh swish
If you destroy them, will the assassins stop coming after you?
Actually that's something that's like loop. You still get encounter on them. Ceciro ok the other hand got no clue cause on the first run in whiterun you will meet ceciro. The questions arise if you end the dark brotherhood. Can you glitched to the dawnstar sanctuary and be attacked by him
Sometimes I think I should change things up and join the brotherhood. But I alway end up with Astrid dead in the shack.
What dagger is that at 2:04?
Hail Cicero
You missed the fact she orders you to kill cicero ..tho i lived in dark brotherhood armour on my first playthrough till i got deadric
