I love that Josh is able to talk about his parents this way. I lost my dad a few years ago and a friend of mine lost her mum we totally joke exactly like this. We even created the dead parent club. Josh you are 100% a honourary member.
I loved it too. It makes some people uncomfortable but for me since I lost my mom those jokes save the day sometimes.

@@maswiyat_i yeah he talked about it on the Last Meals episode with Maria Bamford. His mom was estranged and committed suicide, and his dad died during a heart surgery. He actually shared his dad’s last meal with him
