I have this mouse and honestly its just amazing , the shape is perfect , the sensor is super accurate , the lightings are gorgeous and you can program all the buttons however you want and the scroll wheel is so comfortable to use i highly recommend it
What about the wireless? Already got it, but just wanted other's opnions

I own two of the Mamba Elites and just purchased a third as a backup since it's currently on sale for $49. Sizing is perfect for my girly hands, lighting is awesome, and the tilt scroll wheel is pretty sweet to bind to reloading weapons in Fortnite (yes, I'm a mom who plays this "kids' game")!

I used a Mad Catz RAT 5 since 2017 and thought it was the perfect ergonomic mouse. But the second I touched the Mamba Elite I changed my mind instantly. Just the way it really bonds to your hand and the round feeling of it is straight awesome! I picked it up new as a return from a store for 20$ and it was even still sealed. And the scroll wheel is out of this world. On my RAT 5 it was just there and worked fine. But the scrolling experience on the Mamba Elite is just straight satisfying and out of this world, because it is so firm but still extremly comfortable.
i use this mouse for 2 days, only the scrolweel is a bit hard to scroll but i like the mice

I've been considering one of these. I really wish there was some way for me to try it.
But I prefer to use bigger mice I find, not tiny small ones. & I prefer them to have a bit of weight to them...
So this seems like a good match for me.
My one concern is you mentioned you need to be running Razer's Synapse software, but what I read on there page regarding the Mamba Elite, it says you can save 5 profiles to the mouse for even if you plug it into a computer without Synapse.
My only concern is I use my computer on a KVM Switch that loads a more basic driver to the mouse, so I'll only be able to program the mouse when I plug it into my computer directly. Ideally I want it to save what I did & remember on its own when its plugged into my KVM Switch.
Like I did with this cheaper Velocifire V9 mouse I'm using now... (But pissed off that the company no longer has a way to download its software)

I have a deathadder chroma .. 105 grams .. i think this will be my upgrade .. price is decent .. lighter in weight .. and cable . upgrading because my ''feet'' are wore .
I loved my deathadder, but when they changed it to a smaller size I didnt enjoy the new model. Mamba all the way! Rocking the new Elite edition after the pad peeled off of my Mamba tournament edition.
Hey Techne, my mamba elite lasted 2 months then i had the squeeking sound when pressing left mouse button. I am so sad right because the 2 months it did not have this issue were so good. However I now returned it and probably going to buy the baslisk v3. I just need the 4 way scroll wheel otherwise I would buy the glorious model d.

I can't believe how many mouse roundup reviews pass over this mouse. They all review the "Deathadder Elite", but they fail to cover this bad boy and it's honestly a shame, because this is the better mouse compared to the DeathAdder. The Deathadder used to be my favorite mouse, but it had some flaws. I wanted a slightly more ergonomic hand position, which the Mamba Elite gives me, I wanted better placed grips, which the Mamba corrects, I wanted a better sensor, which the Mamba provides, I wanted better RGB, which the Mamba provides, but most importantly, I wanted more buttons in the form of a mouse wheel rocker, where I can tilt the wheel left or right and the Mamba has it.
It's almost as if Razer took all of the feedback from the Deathadder owners after asking them, "How can we improve upon this mouse?" and then used all the feedback and recommendations to make the Mamba.
Initially, the Mamba was always supposed to be the pinnacle for Razer, but they always screwed it up, first on the very first model, by using the exact same Deathadder shell, making it wireless with horrible battery life and then giving it a laser sensor, trying to make it seem like they're offering something of a higher quality sensor, but in reality, laser sensors ended up being worse than optical and so all of their upgrades sort of backfired.
They made some of the same mistakes at first with this newer model of Mamba, when they released the Tournament Edition, because again, they used a laser sensor, and it sucked. Finally, with the Elite, they at last got all right...a new shape that isn't the same as the DeathAdder, but better, better placed grips, literally the best optical sensor at the time, which is still one of the best today, mouse wheel rocker, better RGB, ...AND it's almost 10g lighter than a DeathAdder Elite at 96g vs 105 for the DeathAdder, making the Mamba better than the DeathAdder in almost every way fathomable.
Why Razer marketing doesn't tout the Mamba as their greatest all around gaming mouse and successor to the DeathAdder, I have no idea, but they really should, especially now that the Mamba can be found for $45.99 - $49.99.

This mouse actually DOES have on-board memory where you can save up to 5 profiles. The button for saving is right there in the Synapse software - it's in the Mouse-->Customize tab, near the profile name. Looks like a memory card or something.

I keep the EC2 on my desk, love that thing! I mainly use the mamba wireless now for just basic use.

Hey Tecnhe, awesome video! Just want to ask if I should get the DeathAddder Elite or the Razer Viper. Never used razer mice before mostly logitech. Heard many good things about both but since the Viper is much more newer it looks more appealing. I'm even consdiering the Razer Viper Ultimate. Thanks brotha.
the viper was a bit small for me, and the side buttons were much to recessed in the side. I love the death adder! now why aren't you considering the mamba here? I recommend this one over both, and it's on sale right now!!

I love my deathadder 2013 but since my cable has been breaking, I am looking for something a bit heavier and a little wider. I think this is it
might get this in about a week. the one i use right now is a mamba 2012 i got hand down. can’t wait.
How is it?
The Mamba Elite has a better shape than the DeathAdder Elite. I can grip the right side better with my ring finger and pinky. The only downside in my copy at least is the mouse wheel that's too loose, whenever I press the middle button in games it scrolls at the same time and when I scroll to change weapons it double scrolls so that I end up with the same weapon.

Hey Techne! Do you have any complaints about that specific Mamba model (the Elite)? I am looking into getting one but I've red a lot of mixed things. Some people absolutely ADORE it and some absolutly HATE it in regards of build quality. Any advice? Thanks! Maybe do a short review of the mouse after some rime of use. Thank you! ^^
the only thing I didn't like about it was the scroll wheel was a tad loose

Don't forget, not only is it better than the DA in all areas, but it ALSO provides 2 additional buttons over the DA that everyone keeps forgetting about. It's one of the features that I've been asking Razer for, for along time, and that's two more buttons via mouse wheel tilt left and right. SO MUCH BETTER! Thank you Razer! It feels better, it's lighter, it has better buttons, better sensor, better RGB, more buttons, better grip placement, better ergonomics (your fingers feel like they are gripping more of a pointer than the DA, ever so slightly, but it all adds to better precision, hence the better performance in COD this guy was talking about. The Mamba Elite is literally Razer's Ultimate gaming mouse and update to the DA. If you liked the DA, but want to upgrade, this is it. Once I switched to the Mamba Elite, I literally tossed my into the garbage, because that's what it is in comparison. Straight up Trash. Cheers.

Just got this - right button does random double klicks. This is very problematic when playing some games. Me fool thought that razer would fix this after at least 10 years. I dont recommend.
