Ah the struggle of getting all your clothes tailored to that "slim fit" look - and then realizing later on that your body is constantly changing. Definitely a struggle of mine when I started getting into menswear, so I can relate all too well. Eventually I realized that I was going through this cycle of having my suits brought out/let in every 6 months as my body mass fluctuated (or in some cases migrated hahaha). Still on the search to find that "Happy medium."
Yea I wasted much money on unnecessary tailoring to bring my clothes in only to have it not fit down the line. I hardly tailor anything now and let it drape properly on me. I get more wears out of it
David M. Spence - Truth! Classic menswear suit fits are timeless and look good on everyone and great if you have any kind of thicknesses wether it be muscle or a bit of extra about the mid section.
I actually benefit from some light shoulder padding. Being a endomorph I have big hip and I do have big lats but my shoulders slop and looking wider at the shoulders helps balance my proportions . Excellent tip on figuring out your jacket length because if you go by the mirror it can look fine but be totally off in photos etc. if you cannot hug yourself or put your arms up your jacket is definitely too small 👍🏻👍🏻.
I love your sweater! Solid advice. wrt length, you are correct about the "hand clench" measurement. I think you could also get by if it covers your butt. DOWN WITH PADDED SHOULDERS!!
I’m a skinny guy but I personally think that double breasted jackets compliment someone who has a bigger build more by narrowing up the V. The same can be achieved by a waistcoat aswell
Criminal how few views this has. Subbed
Just getting into suits now and I’m happy I found this before purchasing a jacket 💪🏾
Well done, thanks for the tipps! Also I realize your stutter is becoming much better! Awesome! Keep up the god work!
Thanks for watching! Yea I have my moments but has gotten better over time

That's great! It's all about balance and proportion.

Yeah that sweater is a hero in its own right. Badass
I went shopping for sportscoats yesterday and came up with nothing So frustrating. Everything you say here is true.
Keep on at it, there's something out there. I've found much success at thrift stores
Thanks for ideas. You looks good in dress.
Yo, my wife really loves your content. You helped me out with that v-neck. Trust. 😁
If my husband’s chest measures a 42, I would go to a 44 to fit his muscular arms, is that correct? Thank you!
I like the color of the suit that big guy announcer is wearing, I wish I knew which brand it was
Great video brother
when my suit is buttoned, standing still is fine for my suit but once I place my hands behind, the chest opens, is this normal or means too tight?
Question: how do I tell if the bottom of the jacket is at the waist if buying second hand online?
felt like i was the only one
I love the jacket at 2:05. Where in the world did you get that?

“You and me.....”
So I do choose a jacket online with picking the prefect length?
I'd first got to a store to find your fit them use that to make an online purchase
Where'd you get that sweater? I dig it
Found this gem at a thrift store, love the weave pattern
Fit Man Style - I remember that pick up. That's the one I liked 👍
