Isn't that United's first 777 ? It's good to see that it is still in service 28 years later.
Close. N774UA was their first, also being delivered in March of 1996. N774UA was also the 2nd-ever 777 ever built! N775UA was Line Number 22 and N776UA, the plane I was on, rolled out as #27.

About a week before my flight, UA changed the aircraft from the 787-10 to the 777-200, likely due to operational reasons. I know they were taking a lot of their 777-200 out of storage during that time, but I'm not sure what the reason for the aircraft change was for this specific flight.

Jein. Die Mittelbins der 777 sind tatsächlich so klein, dass den Vorschriften entsprechende Trolleys nicht Wheels First reinpassen (an den Fensterbins hingegen geht das). Man kann sie nur längs befüllen, was den Platz dann aber schlecht ausnutzt.
