I hope this guy visits a therapist a few times for this. Seeing someone fall and their body afterwards can be traumatic, and the body takes score even if your brain doesn't register it as trauma.

Its easy to say so retrospectively. But taking back to his own room is such a reflex thing to do.
Usually there would be a group of hotel staff trying to figure out what to do - if to call medic or police or if the guest will be angry at them for it etc. They couldnt have forseen this.
Perhaps when they took him to the room, all they thought was that he needed rest. But may be later someone else mentioned " theres a balcony and i have heard people like these can harm themselves. "

    • @almafiorella
      @almafiorella 16 часов назад +22

He was very aggressive and destroying things around. He can hurt someone else. They call the police and paramedics immediately and everything happens in 5 minutes as this guy said. Paramedics arrived 7 minutes after the call. What do you suggest?? To leave him in the lobby putting families and people in danger? Or kick him out to the streets?? Lock him in a bathroom? My question is why his partner, friends and manager leave him alone knowing he wasn’t doing well

Many people in his life have been trying to help him and he has enough money and resources to get the help he needs if he wanted. He’s also had a history of talking about jumping or death and doing hard drugs, when someone is committed to something, it’s only a matter of time.

I know that most hotels have windows which cannot be fully opened but he was in a suite with a balcony, therefore, in such circumstances, there is duty of care not allowing guests who are under substance influence, alone in a room with balcony, he should have been moved by the hotel security guards to a different room and waited for the police and ambulance to arrive or waited in his room until they arrived. where was the hotel security? what was their role? I know in London, hotels don't allow guests on drugs in rooms with balconies, the security is always involved and they take action straight-away.

They actually did call for emergency services, but he fell before they could arrived. I do feel bad for the hotel staff because not only was Liam a grown man with right to make his own choices and customer, but a rich, famous one who could make things difficult for them if they called for help and he felt offended and embarrassed by it instead of grateful. Daily Mail has new information just posted on their site (including more pictures of Liam speaking with guests in the lobby 1-2 hours before he died). According to the site, Liam told the guest who asked if he famous: 'I used to be in a boy band - that's why I'm so f**ked up'.
Another guests also said he was arguing with a woman about money, saying: "I’ll give you $20,000 dollars just because I can. I have $55 million and I like to help people." The lady he spoke to only spoke in Spanish, so the hotel manager translated the conversation. The lady left outside and then spoke on the phone with someone.
Then according to another guest (who took a pic of Liam 30 min before he died while on his laptop) she said this:
"He then began reading emails after flopping onto a sofa, wearing a white vest, cargo pants and trainers. I have a blind relative and I realised he had the laptop on its accessibility setting, for some reason, so that each time he moved the mouse, hovering over something the machine spoke out loud to say where the cursor was. Then he opened his emails and saw one which obviously upset him. Suddenly he took the computer, shouted 'f**k this s**t mate!' and started bashing the computer on the ground.
"Everyone, especially the staff was really shocked. It's a high-end hotel and his behaviour was so out of place - people were just chilling.
'I went over, asked 'are you OK?' But he just kind of grunted. Then he said 'I used to be in a boyband. That's why I'm so f**ked up.'
Not too long afterward, he became beligerent ... and we all now know what happened next.

He hadn't had any more success, since his solo album, in 2017---Niall and Harry have been very successful; he had just been to Niall's concert, two weeks, before. His ex had a lawsuit, against him---I don't remember if it was his baby momma, or not. He spoke, previously, of mental problems---I think, anxiety and depression. He spoke, previously, about having a drinking problem---since 1D days. Now, it seems, he was on drugs, too!! The pic of the hotel room had foil, and matches---maybe, cookin' mêth?---also, something that might have been a syrînge.
Also, someone (a guest) said he was reading emails, in the hotel lobby, on his laptop, and something angered him, and he started bashing his laptop, on the floor. Him being in the hotel lobby, on his laptop, is strange, to me. Was he looking for attention? Did he just not want to be alone? Did he not want to be alone, because he knew he was in a bad place, in his brain, and thought he'd be better-off/safer around people---maybe he was afraid he'd do something bad, to himself.
There's no way to know, what-all someone is going-through---especially a celebrity, whose job also includes smiling, all the time, and acting like nothing's bothering them.

With or without drugs a mental health crisis that is ongoing can be so tiring that a split second decision from desperation to get away from overwhelming thoughts and feelings can change everything. Sadly it can happen to any of us. Sending my love to his family friends and fans and the hotel staff. ❤

I think they did call the ambulance based on the phone calls released. They took him up to his room because they didn't want him to disrupt the other guest. The ambulance didn't just come on time.

So these people noticed and tended to a guest using their hotel out by the lobby area convulsing as the eye witness states and they didn't think to contact the emergency service and get him medical help, this is what makes the circumstances of Payne's death all the more suspicious.

This make me so angry! He was only 31. where was the record company who he generated billions for. He was going though a difficult time. The record company should do more to support and look after their talent and insure they get counselling and some one to shadow them. What is upsetting the most is that if you listen to reporter's who have interviewed One Direction they say he was the one that would shepherd the rest group and organise them. My condolences to his family, friends and fans.

Why was he left alone in his hotel room after passing out downstairs and being sort of 'out of it'.
First thing would be not to leave this man alone (I know drunk/drugged people can be frightening but usually hotels have some bouncers to handle thing like this)and second to get medical help as he obviously needed it, even if it was just something to calm him down.
What he done he done to himself and no-one else is to blame, but he obviously did need help..............and sadly he is not here today because he never got any BUT his life is his own responsibility.

But this guy had a room a couple of floors down from him as a guest? No one called for police or medical to check him out? The hotel was negligent bcos if he had been showing signs of drug reaction/overdose,they could have called police and then arrange for him to be taken to the hospital for detox.. what kind of a hotel is that?you saw a guest in your establishment behaving erratically and you didn't call the police or 911(whichever it is) immediately?they left him till he had to jump knowing that his room has a balcony?that's gross negligence
