I'm already 61 yrs old. It is only now that i get interested in Math. I recall when i was in high school during our class, my teacher asked me why I'm at school with high fever. I told my teacher, i can't understand the lesson. In one instant she let me go home and passed the subject even though i did not understand.

Kids of today are very,very lucky that this material is easily availble. There is no excuse.Get the education and become physicians, engineers and robotonics and scientist. Back in 1990, when I started high school in aparttheid rural South Africa, there was 45 of us learners , crammed in one classroom. No need to mention there was no library, after hours lessons etc. So my interest in maths took a knock and I focused on subjects that I could understand learning by myself

This a example on how to solve an equation
Like this log _2(x+1)=log _3(27) nowhere how you do it:
Start by using the fact that log(a) = log(b) if and only if a = b.Rewrite the equation as 2^(log_2(x+1)) = 3^(log_3(27)), using the definition of logarithms.Simplify 3^(log_3(27)) to just 27.Apply the inverse function of a logarithm to both sides of the equation to get x + 1 = 27/2, using the fact that 2^log_2(x) = x.Finally, solve for x to get x = 13.
So the solution to the equation log_2(x+1) = log_3(27) is x = 13.
