We both suffer from taking on too much and getting overwhelmed. At the end of the day, do what you can and take the time you need to keep yourself sane. Kids and a business (and a full time job for me) are a lot to juggle. Don't ever doubt it. You ARE smashing it! Your expectations of yourself are super high. I think I might be the one who liked the wedding video! I'm watching all your Patreon videos at the moment, as well as listening to all the podcasts, and I'm loving it. In one of your old podcasts, you said your videos weren't the ones people clicked on as soon as they appeared but for me, they really are! They make me feel warm and cozy, and the zoom calls on your Patreon really help: even when it's things I've known for months that I should do, they finally look like I can actually do it.
I've worked in a few retail environments. People are animals. Plastic vs. bands depends on if you're paying for damages or if the shop is taking responsibility.
Oh Em, I feel you with the overwhelm. I am absolutely pants about responding to messages and then I feel soo guilty that I haven't replied straight away. Please don't be hard on yourself, you can only do so much and I think you're amazing! ❤❤
I've seen loads of IG accounts with blue ticks that aren't real names, so I hope you're able to get one quickly! Hi Emily! Great video and congrats on the Kickstarter! Such great news! As for plastic v none in retail stores… I can def echo other people that have worked in these kinds of environments. As someone who used to work in boutique retail and stationary, plastic (or plant alternatives) are your - and the shop owner’s - friend. The amount of damage that occurs to paper products is quite high. People aren’t always careful, kids are very curious etc. We loved it when our vendors provided pre-wrapped goodies! For anything that made sense to have unwrapped, we would stock 1-count that people could thumb through… and also only keep 3 of each item out on the shelf to control any potential damage. Anything over 3 was kept in the back. Every time one sold, we’d replace it. Easy. The amount of loss due to damage is much higher than ppl would ever realize! I’m a huge fan of belly bands too…b/c they always look nice… but def consider compostable bags or something similar. You’ve worked so hard on your products …. Protect them!!! ❤❤❤

Oh Emily, do make sure you take a break. youre doing so amazing and I know how hard it is to self doubt and worry about things... but honestly youre doing great, you deserve a break.
I've watched a few episodes of One Day with my partner (she's a TV bindger). When I came in yesterday evening to sit with her in the living room she was balling her eyes out and it was the last few minutes of the final episode. She's not a crier. I take that as reason enough to watch it... or read the book... or both.
I literally cried on the last episode ...I don't cry either but ONE DAY made me tear a bit
I've been married for almost 30 years and I still cry watching our wedding video! It was one of the most special days of my life 🧡 Your Patron contents look amazing!

l think the note pads and calendar would be better covered in plastic will protect it you can get recycle plastic , l would buy one covered and protected not one that isn't, just a thought x

They look amazing but you could make your EH stickers into a rectangle shape the same width as the band to hold the shorter ones together then it wouldn't be noticeable 🤔💭xx

Thank you for being an awesome motivator. I sell notebooks in a local shop and regret putting them in plastic wallets as loads have been damaged by people flicking through them and bending them , also finger marks, the shops will give me back 60% of the costs as a refund, but its not great . (also make sure you have a damaged goods deal too)
