I had one back in the 80's. Jakey saved my life when I got caught in a rip tide, bit a man in the ass trying to break in the house, killed a pack of rabid dogs terrorizing our backyard, friends with all the neighbours (especially their toddlers who loved playing with him). Helped dad get his keys, wallet, pants etc (cos he's old like that), helped mum find her purse, bag, shoes etc (cos she's old like that), he was smart, tough, gentle, loyal and most of all, my best friend. I'll miss him forever.
I understand, I adopted beautiful black Chow, he was so protective of me. We had a glass front door he looked out of. We went to Florida for a week, left house unlocked, granddaughter came over to feed him & let him out to play. He was the best, when I saw him at pet adoption our eyes connected, so I took him home.😍😍😍😍

Helping fiance take care of his little farm while he was away, his pit bull and great dane rushed by me thru their fenced in area hitting their gate so hard it broke open. I was terrified but they ran straight past me. running towards front gate by street. Shockingly a very tall man was running right towards me from some type of work truck. Soon as he saw the dogs he turned sprinting to his truck and hauled off. The dogs saved me that day from who knows what. Being newly engaged, i hadn't developed a relationship with his pups yet. But from that day forward, they became huge part of my family. Forever grateful.

What do you think would happen to grandpa if his own grandchild was murdered infront of him over material goods that can be replaced. His life would be ruined.
She did the correct thing. She is a child. Best to keep herself and her dogs safe. Its unfortunate but they’re really just after gramps stuff, nobody needs to risk getting hurt so she did the correct thing.
You think gramps there would suggest in a situation like this that she endanger herself?
It's called white people lol
You don’t have to train your dog to be a vicious bodyguard. You just have to give the dog the same love they give you.
Well you do kinda gotta instill the confidence in them to actually take bite if need be. Otherwise youll have what you see here. The doberman only knocked him down, not really disabling the threat. The other one didnt even engage. That robber should have sustained some serious muscle damage to his arms or legs. The victims got lucky the robbers got scared off by simply being knocked down.
Rough housing with a dog when theyre about 6 month to a year old, will instill the confidence needed for them to do what has to be done in an emergency, while also not actually turning them viscous, aince rough housing is a form of play.

So let me get this straight . Your so called "god" takes the time to save random people from muggings . But ignores the cries of the over 50,000 babies and young children who die every single day from torture starvation and poverty? . It's negligent narrow minded thinking like that which is just one of the many thing that make religion so harmful . There is no excuse you could give for a god that allows such a demented paradox such as that .
👍❤️
I understand, I adopted beautiful black Chow, he was so protective of me. We had a glass front door he looked out of. We went to Florida for a week, left house unlocked, granddaughter came over to feed him & let him out to play. He was the best, when I saw him at pet adoption our eyes connected, so I took him home.😍😍😍😍
We had one who was the best babysitter my eldest crawled at 2 months and got into everything...esp crawling all over Tasha he teethed on her long floppy ears...she would whine but never got up I would pull him off her...when he was a year old she would just stand up when she was tired of him and he would roll off her giggling...best dog I ever had...

That's the stupid mentality of a thug.
Just remember thugs are not the brightest bulbs in the pack
Helping fiance take care of his little farm while he was away, his pit bull and great dane rushed by me thru their fenced in area hitting their gate so hard it broke open. I was terrified but they ran straight past me. running towards front gate by street. Shockingly a very tall man was running right towards me from some type of work truck. Soon as he saw the dogs he turned sprinting to his truck and hauled off. The dogs saved me that day from who knows what. Being newly engaged, i hadn't developed a relationship with his pups yet. But from that day forward, they became huge part of my family. Forever grateful.
The dogs may have smelled you on your fiance previously. Also they may have sensed the ill intensions of the stranger.

If you have a dog in Africa they will stand up to a lion. Which gets them killed. But they do it anyway.
I was surprised to learn that the same Dalmatians I saw on many Disney cartoons, were also on the banned list of many apartment complex.

The dog broke a grown man's neck? Highly, highly unlikely. Virtually impossible. I'm calling bs.
@incredulouskirk Pending on the type of dog very possible.
