Very nice. I am considering Parker Hotel. Is the area safe?
The Parker hotel is on slight hill side of the town and that area is pretty safe. It is quite of a walk to the down town so we took taxi to get around.
Lovely video, many thanks. We have booked for Parker hotel too! Please can you tell me is it a long way to get into the centre ? Is it walkable? Did you enjoy the hotel? What about breakfast, was it good? Could you tell me if it is a self service buffet with healthy options like fresh fruit and yogurt? Many thanks!
Napoli was our last stop on 3-4 weeks in Italy. By the time we were Napoli, we couldn’t do anymore walking lol. It is quite far from the hotel to center of the town, at least 10 min drive, probably around 30 minutes walk each way. It is doable , beautiful, and I want to say safe, but not 100% sure. I think the taxi was around 15euro each way if you get it near the Galleria Umberto. What we did was we took taxi down to Galleria Umberto area then we walked around once we were in the down town area. There are many shops and foods in walkable distance then once we had to go couple miles we would get in taxi again. I know I should have made it to at least one of the breakfast but we couldn’t get up in the morning. (we tend to miss bunch of really good breakfasts..) The hotel has overall attentive service, very small town classic hotel feeling, somewhat better of boutique hotel feel to it. It’s a small hotel. It has beautiful view of the bay of Napoli from the lounge/ bar / balcony, don’t forget to check that out. Hope you have a blast of time!
Ps, if you like fresh seafood and you don’t mind hole in wall kind of place please check my video for the fish market seafood. Omg it’s the best, absolutely the best. That fish market has long line, but it is so worth it. Also if you see any thing you like on the fish stand ask them. It seems like even though it wasn’t on the menu if you find anything you would like to try they let you know if that could be prepared or not. That place is real gem in Napoli! On and the pizza 🍕
