When driven to suicide it's just empty. Chris Cornells last ever live performance, he just wasn't there, he was done and tired, unmotivated and unbothered. I went to see Soundgarden open for Voivoid a long time ago and was a big fan of both bands, but SG was not as big yet, and after they set Chris came out and stood in the bad of the crowd right beside me and just had that long hair all in his face back then and jammed during Voivod and tapped him on the shoulder and gave hima thumbs up when the song was just killing it, and he was just smiling and loving it. I went to see Soundgarden open for Voivoid a long time ago and was a big fan of both bands, but SG was not as big yet, and after they set Chris came out and stood in the bad of the crowd right beside me and just had that long hair all in his face back then and jammed during Voivod and tapped him on the shoulder and gave hima thumbs up when the song was just killing it, and he was just smiling and loving it. He seemed happy back them anyway. I never spoke to him, you could not take it was too loud in there. But at the time I was a big fan of his, but had no idea he would because as big as he is now.
