your totally right, without a letter from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, this car will not be able to be regged in a lot of states. for 90k, just not worth it for me to be a paper weight or a weekend toy.
j mil The true beauty of this stupid car is being able to drive it on public roads. without that its going nowhere. What the hell do I need another track day car for. U can almost take anything to the track.
I was actually going to put in an order for an atom. then I saw the price jumped from 57k to 64k in the last month with no changes and I said fuck it, I'd rather just buy a vette and a busa. at least both will be road legal.
silverfd Yeah agreed for that kind of money you can built a similar kit car. The mark up is hurting sales specially with this car not being road legal in most states.
This isn't a real Ariel. The real Ariel is from the UK. This chassis is totally different. This one has a GM engine. The real UK Ariel has a Honda Civic engine. Thanks.
São todos carros lindos. Verdadeiras obras de arte. São brinquedos de gente grande🤩
Desejo sucesso total para a empresa🥂✨
#1 on my bucket list. Someday...
I wish these guys would put some of the profits towards getting this car legal in more states, especially fing CT

Finally, the long-awaited anti-roll bar has arrived.
You have five techs assembling the cars, and each tech takes two weeks per car? No wonder the fucking things have a waiting list.
"The dust all stays in this room, where osha can see this guy isn't wearing a respirator."
no roof sad
all that tech and the guy working on the engine is hunched over and working on the floor ,, really ?

christdragon he said 2.4 litter Honda engine i guess it is a K24
Mine was built at TMI with a Honda K24 back in 2013. From what I know, the AA2 used a GM powerplant, and the AA3 uses Honda.
Yeah right. They only bought the license to manufacture atom but these guys are not the original atom team.
the real atom is not welded together, it is fillet brazed like a high-end bicycle or motorcycle.
