It’s because he went to that country named israel it’s not a good country nor has it done good things but it isn’t Palestine the region is Palestine yes but the country he went to was israel Palestine is the West Bank and Gaza Palestine pre1948 is the whole region or philistine is the Roman province etc etx
Maybe he actually went to the part which is considered to be Israel on the map, not the actual territories controlled by the Palestinian Authority. OR he simply is referring to it in a way his audience would be more familiar with. Allah knows best.
your reference to the time is wrong couldn't find it to help you , in general islam doesn't order anyone to take women in war , rather it was the norm back then , and also it was not taking non combatant women it talks about women who actually were in the battlefield . because of the lack of prisons back then muslims ordered not to kill them rather take them as servants and not abuse them or even try to "sleep with them" if they are not ok with it . because if they left them in the battlefield alone they would die out of hunger or by bandits . nowadays we have prisons so this can't happen . and all of this is talking about "women in the battlefield" .
maybe because you don't understand that era , back then in Arabia and many other regions some people in armies used to take their women with them so they help the men prepare or as nurses for the wounded fighters , and some of them fight also . so islam was talking about that context and islam back then provided a solution better than k*ll them , rap^ them or leave them to die in the desert. instead they work as servants and treated as part of the family and most of the time they marry the fighter that took them or get freed by muslim treasury money or get freed by prisoners exchange. hope you can understand it cuz my english is not that good

Look at thoses verses: "Allah has the Most Beautiful Names. So call upon Him by them, and keep away from those who abuse His Names. They will be punished for what they used to do." Quran:7:180 "Say: 'Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between.' " Quran:17:110 In the frist verse Allah speaks about His Most Beautiful Names ( Al Asma Al Husna) In the second one Allah is making no difference between calling Him Allah or Ar-rahman. So, all those attributes in Quran are in fact the Names of Allah.

Of course, this differs from the names of Allaah The Almighty that refer to His attributes too. one thing you also have to know (comming from a ex orthodox christian now muslim) orthodox have a lot of holidays heres the full list i celebrated as a greek orthodox: - Days of angels (if its the day of michael everyone named michael is praised its once a year) - Days of saints (to this day i have no idea why we celebrated days of saints because such practice is idolatry according to the bible same as days of angels). -Christmas (problems with it well nowhere in the bible did ever jesus or his apostiles celebrate his bday look it up the first christmas celebration has pagan origins in 330 AD christmas was first celebrated) - Easted (also was never celebrated what was celebrated tho was passover which has jewish origins which was when jews escaped slavery out of pharaoh thats when musa split the sea yet passover was never the celebration of jesus ressurection passover is Wed, Apr 5, 2023 - Thu, Apr 13, 2023 but easter is only once in sunday in the orthodox church and has some pagan origins from romans to celebration of some goddess of nature that makes rabbits lay eggs that day). so conclusion none of the above celebrations has ever been mentioned in the bible except passover which originally was more like a practice and not so much of a celebration. Another thing to mention is there are some practices that the orthodox faith has that kinda is controvertial: -Praying to saints(praying to saint peter legit there is a prayer directed to peter. and i thought god in the old testament said you shall have no other gods before me and ot to worship anything except me) -Praying to angels( same as the one above it why am i praying to angels when god in the old testament said not to worship anything except him) -Praying to mary(funny right not only catholics have it). -Praying to jesus(funny jesus said to pray to his "Father" and even called him the only true god) -trinity(No where to be found in the old testament) -sons of god(in the bible it refers to people who submit to god as sons of god not litteral but spiritual same as jesus) -Prophets(only the most important one are mentioned to this day i never heard in chrisianity ever mention any prophet other than jesus except moses adam and abraham) -angels(angels are wierd according to the bible "which contradicts itself" says angels have free will and says angels donnt have free will) -Apocrypha(Contradict the bible thats why they are removed also contain story of the devil) -Paul(without him christianity is gone hes famous for saying a lot of stuf jesus never said for example 1 Corinthians 7:12 paul says "Not the LORD says but i say" aka speaking on behalf of god) so yeah alhamdulilah i found peace in islam none of above bother me anymore cause shirk is gone prophets are mentioned jesus is a prophet never died no contradictions alhamdulilah my life became straight as a stick. Now that i realized there is so much shirk in christianity than i ever imagined

your reference to the time is wrong couldn't find it to help you , in general islam doesn't order anyone to take women in war , rather it was the norm back then , and also it was not taking non combatant women it talks about women who actually were in the battlefield . because of the lack of prisons back then muslims ordered not to kill them rather take them as servants and not abuse them or even try to "sleep with them" if they are not ok with it . because if they left them in the battlefield alone they would die out of hunger or by bandits . nowadays we have prisons so this can't happen . and all of this is talking about "women in the battlefield" .
maybe because you don't understand that era , back then in Arabia and many other regions some people in armies used to take their women with them so they help the men prepare or as nurses for the wounded fighters , and some of them fight also . so islam was talking about that context and islam back then provided a solution better than k*ll them , rap^ them or leave them to die in the desert. instead they work as servants and treated as part of the family and most of the time they marry the fighter that took them or get freed by muslim treasury money or get freed by prisoners exchange. hope you can understand it cuz my english is not that good

Look at thoses verses:
"Allah has the Most Beautiful Names. So call upon Him by them, and keep away from those who abuse His Names. They will be punished for what they used to do." Quran:7:180
"Say: 'Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between.' " Quran:17:110
In the frist verse Allah speaks about His Most Beautiful Names ( Al Asma Al Husna)
In the second one Allah is making no difference between calling Him Allah or Ar-rahman.
So, all those attributes in Quran are in fact the Names of Allah.

The names of Allaah The Almighty differ from His attributes in two ways:
1- The names of Allaah The Almighty are those which refer to His exalted essence with all the attributes of perfection that belong to Him, such as:
(The Wise) (the All-knowing), (the All-hearing). These names refer to Allaah The Almighty, and to what exists in Him of wisdom, knowledge hearing and seeing. As for His attributes, these are attributes of perfection that exist in His essence, such as knowledge, wisdom, hearing and seeing. Thus, the name signifies two matters, while the attribute signifies only one matter.
2- Attributes are more general than names, say, for example, coming and descending are attributes of Allaah The Almighty but we cannot derive names from these attributes, i.e., it is prohibited to say Allaah The Almighty is 'the comer' or 'the descendant'. Of course, this differs from the names of Allaah The Almighty that refer to His attributes too. In addition, some attributes of Allaah The Almighty refer to His acts (laughter, anger and joy), which are endless.

one thing you also have to know (comming from a ex orthodox christian now muslim) orthodox have a lot of holidays heres the full list i celebrated as a greek orthodox:
- Days of angels (if its the day of michael everyone named michael is praised its once a year)
- Days of saints (to this day i have no idea why we celebrated days of saints because such practice is idolatry according to the bible same as days of angels).
-Christmas (problems with it well nowhere in the bible did ever jesus or his apostiles celebrate his bday look it up the first christmas celebration has pagan origins in 330 AD christmas was first celebrated)
- Easted (also was never celebrated what was celebrated tho was passover which has jewish origins which was when jews escaped slavery out of pharaoh thats when musa split the sea yet passover was never the celebration of jesus ressurection passover is Wed, Apr 5, 2023 - Thu, Apr 13, 2023 but easter is only once in sunday in the orthodox church and has some pagan origins from romans to celebration of some goddess of nature that makes rabbits lay eggs that day).
so conclusion none of the above celebrations has ever been mentioned in the bible except passover which originally was more like a practice and not so much of a celebration. Another thing to mention is there are some practices that the orthodox faith has that kinda is controvertial:
-Praying to saints(praying to saint peter legit there is a prayer directed to peter. and i thought god in the old testament said you shall have no other gods before me and ot to worship anything except me)
-Praying to angels( same as the one above it why am i praying to angels when god in the old testament said not to worship anything except him)
-Praying to mary(funny right not only catholics have it).
-Praying to jesus(funny jesus said to pray to his "Father" and even called him the only true god)
-trinity(No where to be found in the old testament)
-sons of god(in the bible it refers to people who submit to god as sons of god not litteral but spiritual same as jesus)
-Prophets(only the most important one are mentioned to this day i never heard in chrisianity ever mention any prophet other than jesus except moses adam and abraham)
-angels(angels are wierd according to the bible "which contradicts itself" says angels have free will and says angels donnt have free will)
-Apocrypha(Contradict the bible thats why they are removed also contain story of the devil)
-Paul(without him christianity is gone hes famous for saying a lot of stuf jesus never said for example 1 Corinthians 7:12 paul says "Not the LORD says but i say" aka speaking on behalf of god)
so yeah alhamdulilah i found peace in islam none of above bother me anymore cause shirk is gone prophets are mentioned jesus is a prophet never died no contradictions alhamdulilah my life became straight as a stick. Now that i realized there is so much shirk in christianity than i ever imagined
