Sometimes its just an electrical issue, or the coin mech needs to be unplugged and plugged back in like you said. It can be a simple fix. Every now and again there is a board issue and if you clear the ram on the board it resets everything in the machine and solves a wiring/connection problem when theres no physical signs of wire or harness damage. With clearing the ram, you have to reprogram the machine which even though it may take 10 mins to reprogram, it fixes the bug in the system. Saves you money. Another great vid!
Hi, Bill. Hope all is well. So, I have the $100 Royal 660 taken care of and its working great - sort of. Turns out it was the evap fan motor that had failed and I figured that by checking other things such as placing a small fan behind the chute to see if it could circulate cool air and help eliminate the fact it wasn't anything with the cooling system such as compressor or thermostat. Once found the little fan (I think its name is Vortec) did help cool, I figured the $200 for the evap motor would be worth it. NOW.....😂 it has something really odd going with it. Noted, the machine accepts bills and coins. The coin mech is the one that has blue buttons you can press for each denomination and it will payout like a slot machine. Its deal is showing a 1-blink red light which indicates a jammed coin. However, that is not the case. All coins are settled fine. Bill validator, again works, as it should. Problem is on the front of machine where it reads the little messages, temp, and price, it will do that....then start doing a Chinese version of lines along with blinking the "Sold Out" and "Use Correct Change" lights, before going back to showing display correctly. During this unfamiliar writing, it can still keep track of money being inserted and dispense. So, no biggie there. I cannot go into the Menu to adjust anything such as prices because I'm not fluent in this new language😂. What are your thoughts? Thank you again and have a great day. -- Matthew
Hi Matt. So the coin mech is working ok or it isn't? If it is reporting a jam after cleaning out the coin path, you may need to swap it for another one. Those coinco coin changers are fairly inexpensive used and they pretty reliable. As for the odd displays on the machine....are there any flickering florescent lights around the machine? Are the light bulbs in the machine working? If the bulbs are old and black on the ends, you might want to replace them or completely disconnect the wire going to the lights. Flickering bulbs around your machine can cause all types of control board issues. Does your board have a red button or a blue button? The red button boards are the older ones and once they get to a certain age can start doing odd things. I have a giii machine that no longer displays the temperature...even though I have it set to do it. It's just something that happens when the capacitors start drying out on the board. You can try completely resetting the board by pulling out the timekeeper battery chip (carefully with a chip puller) and unplugging the machine for 10 minutes. This will clear all the programming so after you put the battery back in and power up the machine, you will need to completely reprogram it (prices, sts, product depth). It might be a good time to replace that battery...which you'll need to order online.
Grate video as always mate I've got a question to ask I know it might sound stupid But on the dixie narco coke vending machine why do they have inner doors in the Machine also why do they have door flaps in the delivery bin where the cans drop out
@@HappyVending yes thanks mate I've just watched one of your old video's when you put spirals in the snack machine for coffee cups you said it can only hold 5 cups right so why just put in another spiral next to it so you can put in extra 5 cups mate
at what point does the coin mech dispense dimes and nickels for change instead of quaters? I noticed that when the quaters are low on my machine, it does not take bills. Why when there is enough nickels and dimes to give for change?
The way you 'show and tell' the troubleshooting is awesome. Love it.

The inner door and the flap is to keep cold air sealed inside the cabinet.

@@virgo2fly your machine might not know it has enough money in the coin mech. Empty all the coins from the mech and refill it using tube fill mode.
Maybe you rebooted the machine by turning the power off for about 10 minutes.
the ole "take it apart and put it back together" fix - this has worked for me many times, but I'm always waiting for it to fail again in a week.....
This one is still working for me.
Thanks i think my trc 6510 is having the same issue with my drink machine. I will try cleaning and reseating ribvon cable tomorrow
Great job! Thank you!
My cashflow 690 in the UK only accepts some £1 coins but not others, does anyone know why this is, any help is appreciated
Maybe it needs to be retuned. Try it in a different machine and see if the problem follows the changer. If so, send it out for repair.

Bill raise your prices 😆.. out in L.A. mostly every vendor is @$1.50 on chips, some even @$2 bucks
Yeah....they do need to go up...but not to LA prices.

Great video as always 👍
I set mine to $1.50 and people still complain…in LA those definitely have to be $2.00. What does candy sell for out there?

well...it's still working, but I'll keep an eye on it. If it needs service I'll send it out.
My Ap 113 won’t take more than a dollar.
Try turning off "bill escrow".
