Its over a year an lahaina is still a mess, check out Florida, just completely got way more destroyed and guaranteed in a year Florida will be completely rebuilt. Perfect example of democrats vs republican, you won't see Florida having national guard and check points and needing papers to get in your neighborhood

Today, about 5pm, I read on HNN that #1, because of the POORLY maintenance of the dry brushland that STILL is today, its what fueled the fire......On Oahu, bids go out from the county or state govt for either private contractors or EVEN OCCC/Halawa CCC inmates weedwhack sides of highways and they DO an excellent job!!!! Then, #2.....about a bulldozer operated by a private person helping their friend to clear and make a firebreak, but unfortunately while doing so, remnants of hot ash etc tumbles down a ditch, with the winds picking, causing that to flare up. Lastly, MFD citing KS for poor management of land infrastructure......grass was getting taller and dry. KS can make "issues" about properties and ownership of lands, YET.....they cant even hire yardmen or contract a crew to DO the same as what Oahu does.....
I'm 100% serious, did you see the article few months after fire that said the state wants to plant the same invasive grass that started the fire in the same place because it grows fast 😂😂 can't make this stuff up
