How many #FasBeamers are waiting for the VW Virtus?
Hlo Sir
I read Virus first 😅😂
Waiting the most.!

Hell ,yeah
At the world of SUVS finally we have a sedan Thank you Skoda
Thats what talking cars said
You are saying that like you will buy 2 or 3 of them even before their production starts
@@ToddyBeer69 Hey malayali

Doesn't matter how brilliant an SUV any brand offers, my heart will always beat for a sedan. ❤️
Only one thing was missing ,that was frameless door.
SUVs r more comfy than sedan for long drives
My also
Sedans are always comfortable than suvs
@@nileshkhandagalephotography No Not all SUVs But Sedans are More Comfortable
The Skoda slavia is a really promising car, punchy engines, good features and equipment and practical and spacious too..... A really tough competition for the Honda city and Hyundai Verna
At the wave of SUV cars , Skoda is boldly introduced a sedan.......🔥🔥That is the European cunning power of SKODA✨️✨️
Brilliant car
Definetely a powertrain
Waiting for the VW virtus which should be mind boggling phenomenal
Bro understated looks of vento kept it looking relevant even in 2020 while rapid had a full cosmetic upgrade in 2016. Big "chinese special" grills looks stupid particularly after 5 years.
Sabka khyal rakha kAro
Namaste car Dekho samajh jaoge
Virtus will have the same budget quality interior with hard plastics.
Just a Tdi would drastically increase the sales chart 🥺
Since this is replacing the legendary Rapid which had helped Skoda India to plant its feet firmly in our Market, I hope and only hope, they price this correctly.
Even your way of noticing and describing small details is a treat to Skoda engineering.
People who can't afford to get Octavia is getting an option to Get much affordable Octavia called slavia. Myself always adore Octavia and I wished skoda could introduce cheaper version. Skoda made it happen. Thanks Skoda
what about the octavia facelift? isnt that supposed to be a cheaper version of octavia?
haha! wow! 😁
I'm a diesel freak. I miss the tdis
Agree
Lol. Nothing is equal to baby Octavia
Engine variants are all round package and it has cylinder deactivation at the same time. The color looks cool. Traditional MT with a high tech engine. Loving it!
@romba760 why tho??
In my opinion it will increase the mileage at the cost of the life of the engine.
The 1.5 TSi will surely kick in but the 1.5 TDi will kick like hell 💥
1.5 TSI is actually faster than the 1.5 TDI
1.5 tsi is anyday faster than a 1.5 tdi
But 1.6 crdi is best in the business
@@_Sanjay_xo 😂😂
@@gurnihal12 I'm talking about Diesel not petrol engine
When Skoda discontinued Rapid(I was on the verge of booking it in Sept beginning) I was really pissed considering Slavia would not come cheaper as rapid
but when I saw that Red Slavia , I was blown away and felt that discontinuing was totally worth it ..
In the end Had to book Nexon XM due to budget constraint

Skoda has done a great job in launching this Slavia in a mid size SUV generation 😍😍
Slavia is definitely a very big step-up from the Rapid. It looks amazing, has all the modern day features, safety and the engines are simply fantastic. It's also big in size. I loved it to the core❤❤. It's definitely going to sell in good numbers.🔥🔥
Eagerly waiting for a proper driving vlog of the 1.5 TSI engine🔥🔥
They are going to priced this above 18 lac ....

Finally a true sedan . That 1.5 is enough to buy this car. This car is pass in evry point Looks, safety, Performance. Just one thing skoda should Improve their after market service. Finally, Skoda is on right Track ❣️
for me the city and the slavia are equally good but the slavia looks a bit more posh and luxurious
Love the fact that skoda is trying to make a statement that they are trying hard by launching a well packaged car unlike Ford..
The top variant of slavia gets paddle shifters and slightly diff alloy wheels .. hoping it to have features like ambient lighting, ep brakes, electrically adjustable driver seat and cruise control. If they really bring these features slavia will become the best in segment car and the bookings will go floodingly high!!
Was Eagerly Waiting For This Vlog.
Mind Boggling Phenomenal Vlog.
Blue And Red Colour Looks Absolutely Sensational.
If Their Would Be TDI (Diesel) Engine In This Car It Would Be Great And Fun To Drive.
Seems Skoda has done some good research on the latest Verna and City, and improvised a lot. Not sure why I feel the rear to look like Verna lol. The dashboard looks fantastic. Was expecting 17 or 18inch wheel on this wheel base.
Seems like skoda are planning to shift Octavia buyers to buy the Slavia given the kind of packaging they have done🤑
Why would a person with that kind of budget buy a lower segment car?
Not really, the Slavia is meant as a replacement for the Rapid, however the new Octavia, with its higher price, is a better take than the superb. Not the best marketing by Skoda, to be brutally honest.
@@tharan8069 how can it be a better take than the superb? In fact it seems better going for the superb at that price point.
Skoda is attracting those buyers [City] who can't afford to buy an Octavia.
@@shreyass2447 fair enough, I do agree. Now, there's a very little price gap from the Octavia to the Superb, but comparing both, the Superb is indeed superb. The new Octavia isn't the best value for money anymore sadly (In India, at least)

People buy honda and toyota for reliability.
Skoda service is known to have issues,I don't think people would choose this over City.
People would be afraid of EPC issues from skoda now! Skoda have to prove from now

Reliability is exactly why I bought my city in 2015
@@Strex_Edits and if I may ask how's it going ?
@@arunkumar-ok4pm it's going really nice
Cons- the suspension is way too stiff under load, AC in back is sometime inadequate. Mileage is bad, but I don't care about that honestly. Also a few days ago the tire in the front right suddenly burst when i was doing my local commute. I mean it was kinda expected since I didn't start my car for 2 months and the tires were flatspotted. I am using the spare tire rn.
Other than that it's a beast, the performance is so good I can drive for hours. It's a driver's delight. Easy to drive in town
The skoda slavia is such a game changer that it even changed the trend of the intro being mismatched from the car showcased in the video!
Your video motivated to exchange my honda city V & buy slavia....excellent detailing with all pros & cons
I myself being a Honda City owner. I would want to replace my City with Slavia. Daamm tha design is too good. And the TSI motors in manual are a gem to drive. The 1.0 L has a good balance of more than sufficient power & torque with good average. Obviously 1.5 L is a rocket, but don't expect any avg out of it. But with current fuel prices and my daily drive 1.0 L would be more than enough, as the 1.5 L will surely be expensive than the competition looking at how Skoda has packed/equipped this vehicle so well.
Will you recommend Verna 1.5 diesel or slavia 1.5 tsi ? Which one would be better in performance??
The knobs for volume and track change should be brought back. Infact it act as a safety feature.
Use steering buttons
For AC too
@romba760 yeah that could be problem when you are driving solo
the steering is something you always have in your hands brother
Your talking speed is faster than most of the super cars! Jokes apart, it’s very informative review. Thanks!
I felt audio quality is not at the best in VW Taiguan when compare to Hyundai's and MG or Tata's.
Does it have AC on via App like City or Verna and does it have inbuilt navigation system?
0:45 Very informative thing you have said sir i would have never known about this, Really grateful 😉🙏🏼
Correction at 1:39-1:40 . Slavia's wheelbase is 1mm longer than the Ciaz only, not City and Verna. Till date, the City and Verna lags behind in terms of wheelbase at 2600 mm where as the Ciaz offers 2650 mm.
Wheelbase doesn't necessarily mean bigger rear space. City has the best leg room in the segment. In fact, City & Verna have the exact same wheelbase, yet the backseat of Verna feels like you're sitting in a sub-4 metre car whereas City offers acres of space in the back.
That's absolutely true. Although City offers better legroom now ,it does lack the interior width (although the figures are bigger than the Ciaz) in terms of seating 3 abreast. Ciaz imo offers the best of both worlds. As you rightly pointed,Verna is far away 😂.
So basically Faisal is the car-guy version of Tech Burner 😀
Thumbnail with the red one while others are opting for blue. Smart move faisal👏👏👏
4:33 "the center passenger does get a head" 😂
Skoda slavia 1.0 tsi vs Honda City 1.5 VTEC petrol which one is good to buy ?? Comfort , Drivability and steering feedback wise which one I choose to buy???
I love the ground clearance.. 179mm... Beats everything else... Surely.. In this price point..
0:41 R.I.P the staircase pullers xD
Hey Faisal
I am booking this beast please help me with the color you have seen car so which is good one to pick. Confused between The new blue and Red and white which looks dope. ??? Waiting
What about the steering wheel, is it telescopic ? Is it only height adjustable?
Is the cylinder deactivation feature only for the automatic???? I think it's for both manual and automatic.
How's interior quality? Because in Taigun n Kushaq it's not great?
can we expect any replacement for Vento as well?
This is an absolute epitome of sedan in overcrowded suvs.!! 🧡🧡🧡
I'll rather wait for Volkswagen version of Slavia ....honestly i feel VW does better packaging !!
City ,Verna getting newer generations, skoda launching a new car, meanwhile MS ciaz the same old car which is on sale from 2014 ...with just a minor update in 2017.and still manages to sell more than Verna sometimes 😄😄
Log chutiya hi hain sahi mein.. Brezza and s-cross or maybe xl-6 are the only cars that makes sense from Maruti.. Who even buys a ciaz?
@@visibleconfusion9513I am not MS fan but to answer your question, sedan lovers like Ciaz. I have test driven it just few days ago and it's a good car with lot of features. Mind you, it's lot cheaper compared to it's rivals with good build quality. xl6 has ncap rating of 3/5. Same goes for Brezza. S cross I agree is the best Maruti car but unfortunately dint get recognition it deserves
@@abhishekmk6716 true, you can get an ciaz at 12 lakhs ,where as city n Verna are more 3 to 4 lakhs costlier. But they offer more features n performance for that premium price compared to ciaz
Wheels are so small for this car
But still this car is absolutely mind bhoggling phenomial 🔥
You get a better ride because thicker tires, less unsprung mass and more room for wheel travel, so softer springs and better damping control. And better mileage too. Those 18 in wheels are HEAVY.
Still the city rules the segment and will cz the v-tech engine is just fabulous and it has much more low maintenance cost with more practicality

Finally Skoda is also adjusting with the Indian market... which is a nice thing... finally brands are realising they have to adjust with the market ...the market will not adjust with them
Car looks promising but we cannot deny the reliability of Honda. You can still see good number of all the previous generation of City, Amaze, Civic even Brio. But do we really see older cars from Skoda/VW (except Polo)? It has lot to do with maintenance cost and reliability.
Because their best seller - Rapid, had just one generation.
You're right. No comparison with Honda City in terms of reliability and upkeep costs and overall longevity.
European car companies have still not understood our market as they have failed to deliver good and reliable cost effective car for our masses
I have a 2013 skoda rapid ultima, it's running really smooth, with minimum maintenance
I love how excellently Skoda design it's cars🔥🔥

City is City. It has been ruling the segment for the past 2 decades. Many came & went & City is still the king of the segment. There's a reason why people prefer the City over its competitors despite being the costliest car in the segment.
The real reason is the name ‘city’ and the emotions connected to it! 😊
@romba760 Right. Once the price is revealed, this will most probably be the costliest car in the segment. And if the 1.0 doesn't undercut the City, then its gonna be a hard sell for Skoda.
