@@Kathelina Not subharmonics. Tim doesn't do subharmonics. He does have the best growl / 'breath of fire' technique on earth though. Look up Geoff Castellucci for what subharmonics are. They're more 'tuneful' and rich but a lot less reliable and less forceful than growl technique. How the hell Tim gets such strong, controlled pitch out of what is basically an extended cough is beyond me though. He's completely amazing at it.
His microphone wasnt up very loud either than other performances... they auctally had a great sound system by the sound of it... everyone could be heard equally
I love the whole song--catchy tune, sing-along lyrics, dance I can actually do!--but, yeah, that's EXACTLY why I'm here, yeah, Tim's amazing bass work! The sound quality of this recording is fantastic, too! Tim's drop is much smoother here, than in the "Tim's Vibrations" video of another performance of this song, recorded from the sound booth and clearly showing an earthquake with those notes! Awesomely impressive, but sometimes, I want to HEAR the notes, rather than feel the earth moving beneath my feet with them. Although ... "Yeah, honey, the earth moved beneath my feet! I swear!" LOL!
