Thanks for watching guys, this one is one of my favorite. Be sure to look at the pan seared venison steak video- Also, be sure to check out my shop (link in the Description), any purchases help keep new content coming to the channel🤘
It can be cubed up and cooked for dishes like this one just try to remove as much fat and silver skin as you can. A lot of people will also take the whole front shoulder and smoke it!
How do I keep my deer meat from overcooking/becoming dry? I tried doing stew and only cooked it for 3 hours and the deer meat was tough… I can’t seem to get the timing right
Usually with deer meat when it’s tough it wasn’t cooked long enough or it was cooked too long. In the case of stew it has to cook for a long time. I leave mine in the crock pot all day to ensure it is tender so this is something I make in the morning. Hope that helps!

Looks so delicious. Do a video on Rabbit stew 😀
If I ever get out and go after some cottontails I’ll make that happen for ya 😂
This time it'll be Man vs. Rabbit...😂 sounds good.
Once everything is in, do you put the cooker to high?
Depends on how much time you have I use the low setting and cook all day usually 8 hours or so

The packaged spices ended the video.
I’m not sure I got all the ingredients. Or the measurements 😊

Going up and down these ozark hills sure gives me a workout 😂
LOOKS GOOD BUT COULD USE ALITTLE MORE LIQUID.
