I main Shao again and I love him. There is a low set up that people don’t expect. You do the launcher and then you do the 2,2 string and then the axe pound amplified. If it hits delay dash (have to switch side for this combo) then you input 2,2,4 and then axe grab. It’s a 60/70% combo reset with 2 bars and if the pound don’t combo you’re safe

I know this really isn’t the place to ask but should I buy MK1? I’ve been debating and all honesty it doesn’t seem fully finished to me yet. It looks really fun but the rest of the game looks unpolished or it’s lack of customization.
I’m not too knowledge with MK but I believe the opinions right now is if you want customisation, choose 11. But if you want good gameplay, 1 is the way to go. 11 straight up as aspects that aren’t good and can create bad habits. And while 11 has variants for characters, this causes them to actually lack choices because they are only allowed few moves to allow for more variations. 1 not only just has one version that has really good move sets, but the kameo system almost acts like a variant system but adds more.
I haven't been watching your clips, because I didn't want to until I got the game so that the gameplay would still be new to me and man I'm loving this game and as always love your content

Great video, gotta make this known though. Online versus, KOTH, and Ranked does not work for an alarming amount of people in the community. All of us are experiencing the same issue across all platforms, that issue being when we try to find a match we are perpetually stuck on the “searching for a match” screen. No in home hardware fixes like router resets or reinstalling the game do not work and have not worked for anyone experiencing the same issue. And nobody is talking about this. There’s at least one Reddit post I’ve found where there’s over 1000 of us experiencing the same problem. We would love to be playing ranked right now but we can’t and at this point we could lose the whole season if NRS or WB doesn’t get this to their attention soon.
I'm so happy they went away from the mk11 style some and brought back the mkX style stuff. I kinda hated mk11 for a while from getting spoiled from how m7ch I loved MKX. Looking forward to matching you soon 😊 and also watching some vids ❤
You have to amplify the devastator attack with right trigger, then input the power strike (DF4) as shao starts to stand back up. This won't work though if you take damage during the devastator animation.
