The days when every boss monster atk was around 2500-3000 and ZA ☆ BARRIER made a difference... Good days. And then came the skills that change atk for no reason.
That's nothing compared to the actual Rush Duels format. Currently, a Boss Monster always has an ATK boost that can reach anywhere from 700 ATK to 1800 ATK. Boss Monsters with less than 2500 ATK must have special/unique Effects to be viable (or be a Fusion Material for a competent Fusion Monster).
@@brunosanto3488 tbh, we already have some monsters that already go up to 3500+ very easilly, and then the skills either boost them even further or debuff the opponents, which is why ZA ☆ BARRIER isnt that good anymore.
I still remember when i burned money for that UR guaranteed Ancient Arrise Dragon, just to end up very disappointed with the banlist hitting the deck hard in terms of recovery and keeping up with longer duels.
The first GR Festival really was an experience; people would unironically play Phantom Bind because it was the only potentially useful non-Legend Trap against Dragonic Resonance for when they inevitably blow up Widespread Ruin (The Barrier didn't debuff enough and the skill buffing levels above 8 meant Music Princess' Recital was useless), but then people started playing Ancient Forces since they had a more varied type pool. But now that meant that Music Princess' Recital was a relevant card against them. And in the back, some furry little critters backing up Dragias & Friends blew out everyone taking the top spot.

At first I didn't like Royal Rebel but then ended loving them so much that is the deck I played the most on DL... Sorry Psychics Konami gave the support I wanted when I no longer playing

I mean, CyDras are the only deck that's using Atk boosting skills now... Cuz every other deck just has Boosting built in.

They should have made a seperate mobile Game for Rush Duel. The enconomy of DL for the Players is terrible
True, trying to play speed and rush on a single account without spending a ton of money is unfeasible.
