The dialogue for this show spat at the untamed even the ending was better and that’s coming from a die hard MDZS fan like me. Well done to the directors, the screens writers and the actors. The literally gave Chinese censorship a big F u.😂
I loved Simon Gong jun's acting in WOH a lot ... Gong jun absolutely has great acting skills with an extremely handsome face and bright personality ...how amazingly he embraced this really awesome but complicated character... He not only brought Wen kexing to life but also improvised it....

No, Yan Wushi needs to be played by an older actor imho. ZZH would be fine for Shen Qiao, but it's rule of thumb that c-actors only do danmei-adaptations once in their career. Gong Jun is the only known exemption to this.

PLEASE the way i highkey wish these two would also be casted as Xie Lian and Hua Cheng for TGCF. Zhang Ze Han can surely fit in the carefree, innocent but smart Crown Prince of Xian Le :') and we all know Gong Jun pulls off the playful/secretive/loyal character really well. Not to mention GJ and ZZH have a height difference that sort of fits in (if not exactly) with canon HuaLian. Am i the only one who's ever thought of how they fit HuaLian to the T???

The couples always consisted of one older man and one younger man, and they called each other "senior" and "junior". This is somewhat ambiguous, as these marriages weren't recognized at the imperial level, but they were very definitely marriages. The two men conducted a full marriage ceremony, and lived together. Technically, you could interpret this scene as ZZS adopting WKX as a brother, but in context it's very obvious what it actually means. Chinese censorship really doesn't let them get any more brazen than this, this drama just barely passed it.
