Other than ease of animations, it's also what the type of "reloading" procedure that most rapid-fire machineguns use. The German MG34 & MG42 are prolific examples of it. The idea is that when you have an extremely fast-firing belt-fed firearm, the barrel itself will get extremely hot rapidly after just a few cycling shots, which can result in "misfires" or at the very least, slows down the rate of fire considerably. So reloading what is essentially a boiling firearm is pointless since that hot barrel is going to cause A LOT of issues. So, might as well just quick-swap the entire barrel with a fresh, cold one and continue on. The process of changing the barrel itself is also a relatively simple and quick one. A well-trained machinegun crew is said to be able to keep a relatively consistent suppressing fire WHILST quick-swapping their barrel.
@@lukmaanpratomo6866 It is more to prolong the life of the barrels. While a barrel can survive 10's of thousands of rounds over its lifetime, it would only survive maybe 1000 consecutive rounds before rupturing or warping beyond usability.
Just now finding this, very impressive. I'm not sure how much heavy lifting the level 200 is doing, but being under the power level kicks my butt even with girls like Asuka.
