For me, these two acoustic tracks from Without You I'm Nothing are the reminiscence of two most emotional seasons of the year.
Ask For Answers sounds as calm and as sweet as blooming fruit trees and green plains of early spring. It's like a big awakening of our souls, we feel alive again.
On the other hand, Summer's Gone is simply about departure of summer - the greenery, the warmth, the feeling of safety, our memories - it all disappears. It leaves a bittersweet memory in our minds.

This was played to me some years ago by someone (who'll remain anonymous) who demanded I keep listening to the words until I understood them. The person then walked away, thinking I wasn't taking the request seriously, and I never saw them again.
