- The long awaited deathmatch between Shara Ishvalda and Safi'jiiva is finally here!
Shara Ishvalda starts in his second phase and Safi'jiiva has access to it's super critical state.
Note:
Both Monsters have their Master Rank solo HP.
Both Monsters have their damage increased proportionally.
Safi'jiiva has slightly altered Damage (this is needed so that some of his blasters can work).
All other stats are all based on default values provided by Capcom
We also take no responsibility for any unusual A.I behaviour, as these are variables we cannot adjust.
These fights are not to be taken seriously and are not based on Monster Hunter Lore, I simply make them for people to watch and enjoy.

Damn, that was a close fight! But in the end, Shara Ishvalda's sheer DPS managed to overwhelm even the infamous Red Dragon whose energy absorption allowed it to outlast all manner of other powerful Monsters.
Hasn’t Safi lost basically every fight it’s been in thus far?

@@deathclawproductions6723 Game wise Safi is in no way designed to fight other monsters, as is evident by its beams not doing multiple ticks of damage, or sometimes just failing to do damage altogether. Shara in game has almost every attack deal multiple ticks of high damage, making it extremely strong.
Lore Wise Safi would crush Shara, as it is stated that Safi's power rivals or is even equal to that of Fatalis, a level of power that Shara has yet to reach, based on the information we have.
This fight was awesome, to be sure. But the fact that Safi's attacks are far more specialized towards attacking singular hunters, rather than multiple tick dps attacks, made this fight difficult for Safi to win game wise.
@@Mr.Nightmare956 actually, that was mistranslation made in translated version mhw lore book. Safi was only said to be equal to fatalis only design wise. Although it is also stated that Safi can rival the black dragons when it reaches its peak, but they didn't specifically mention which black dragon. Meaning it is around Alatreon and Dire Miralis level.
Also I am not Japanese. I only got that information from Japanese players.
At first i though t this fight would be quick with sharas insane dps but then safi started healing only to be brought down minutes before victory. What a legendary battle

I have to say Shara plays better then 50% of the Community by actually bothering to go after the free Green Gas Explosions.
I feel like half the time it actually was Safi using them on Shara
Shara's dps has to be second only to Fatalis in world, this is ridiculous. I actually feel like Safi got really lucky too, with Shara not using their most powerful moves for a good chunk of the fight.
hmm kind of makes sense why the vibration beams are so powerful, those things technically cut through anything like a pressurized water cutter but much much more deadly and powerful!
Not surprised by the outcome, Shara’s Monster v Monster DPS is some of the best in the game with only Fatalis surpassing them.
Not to mention Safi’s seems to have a noticeable lack of multi-hit attacks with its most dangerous ones not being used very often.
Kinda figured Shara would have this since it's beams individually all do crazy chip damage, Safi had more heals than I thought he would tbh so it was still a decently close fight.
Most Generic-looking elder dragon VS Wierdest-looking elder dragon
Its crazy to see both their big moves do practically nothing to each other.
Safi's HP was not a factor, because safi heals ALOT.
You appreciate how convenient it is for MH populations that generally the notoriously huge and influential elders take turns making their emergences known.

Shara's DPS in MHW is INSANE and was the deciding factor in this matchup. If Safi's beams had the same "high dmg, multiple ticks" as Sharas do, the fight could've ended much quicker.

Now that I think about it, has Safi won a fight? I remember it lost to Alatreon, Fatalis and Xeno Jiva (I think). Has it been in any other turf war? Edit: Yep it defeated Behemoth.
Seeing safi’s sapphire from above at the start really lets you know how strong it is, the flames don’t just go flat out covering the ground, the fire bursts out in a massive explosion then heaps of flame are sent flying in every direction

it was a long time coming, i'm just i could finally deliver this awesome fight between two of the most powerful elders in the game
Poor Safi. He has everything working against him, and Shara has everything working for him. 😢
Seems like it would have won here if his attacks could actually land. And in the meantime Shara’s moves do the inverse of how much damage they should, with the little beams doing way more than the big beam which does as much as the ult (usually less-was it buffed here? If so, good). Safi has regeneration but at the payoff of having a smaller health bar and being helpless while regenerating, and draining his own regeneration pool when he fires lasers that can’t hit. Even with the explosions from the ground, he stays knocked down longer (and loses energy), and isn’t set up to trigger them the same way Shara does, which it can do from a distance. And on top of everything else, Supercritical Mode greatly increases the damage Safi takes way more than it increases the damage Safi deals, which doesn’t feel fair if it’s not about avoiding one-shotting players with tiny health bars. 😢
Oh well. Still a really cool spectacle to see. Just wish Safi could get any kind of W, lol

Why does Sapphire of the Emperor do so little damage here but so much in the video where you test it against every large monster in the game (out at that point)?
Why do safis beams not cause any damage? At least there were times he would hit shara but no damage was actually dealt?
Shara's damage output is insane, i doubt he would stand any chance against Shara but hey, those fight are in game
Shara and Safi are extremely close, as both being ancient dragons from the new world, which are deeply linked to the everstream and with the capabilities of influencing the new world as they see fit, while Shara doesnt control energy the same way Safi does (as far as we know it can root itself to it and syphon it?) Shara is much much more destructive in general with all of his noted i think its fair to say how they would be evenly matched.
In the lore the safi is much stronger than the shara

Shara is shown to have literal absurd strength during its fight.
It did level the entire origin island down and then flattened it with a single roar, and it can survive having its head cracked open, you can actually see the inside of its skull by breaking it's head twice
Safi while very strong but has now shown anything like that.
Stone has shown to be effective at blocking Safi's attack and well Shara is quite adept at manipulating it.

Shara without her multiple damage is not a big deal either, Safi should also have multiple damage attacks, the problem is the programming of the monsters

I had a hunch that Shara would win but it was closer than I imagined, I also loved the buildup to the fight and the moment the fight started Shara shed its rocky armour immediately.

this fight was sorta unfair for safi, for some odd reason most of it's hits are not being registered on shara, but shara's every single shot is being registered on safi.

This channel is nonsense when it comes safis turf wars. Safi always has much lower hp. None of Safi's beam attacks were damaging shara. Saphire of the emp should likely do a lot more damage. Sharas hoving beam damage that killed safi at the end is pure hax for turf wars. Sorry for ranting. Just a lil pisd that safi is always losing even though lore wise he is as strong as fatalis.
Yeah, in a gameplay standpoint, Shara won because of the tick damage.
Lorewise, a single Sapphire drop from the sky is enough to take it out.
