At the end of the day, it’s what YOU enjoy driving. 2 things about this car: 1. He makes new memories with me since it’s a new one. 2. He gets to hold my hand. 😌
I'm going buy my 370Z in the first quarter of 2025 , and have no plans at all to get the manual transmission . I think the car is just too nice to get the six speed .
I have an '09 Touring with paddle shifters. I get a lot of negative comments about it. My only gripe, and it's a minor one, with the paddle shifters is, to me, sometimes I want the back end of the Z to ...sort of drift around a corner every now and then (yes with draconian-era traction control off). It's hard to maintain that slight drift with paddles. Certainly not enough for me to say, "gee, I need a clutch." And I know a few owners of the Z34 series that have had that dreaded CSC issue. I do kind of wish that paddles were mounted to the wheel, closer to my hands, so I can keep both hands on the wheel while shifting. But if I tracked my Z ...and I'd love to, I'd have to have a manual. So much easier to maintain RPMs getting into a corner, and exiting. But I don't track and just have fun on open roads. My current Z fits the billet perfectly for my needs.
Nice man, happy to hear from another Z owner. CSC was def a thing which happened to me. But yes otherwise this car serves all of my needs as an auto as well, it’s all preference/situation 👌🏼 thanks for your feedback !
Every time I see a video of someone testing a manual they are on county roads, I’m getting an auto because I can’t imagine driving a stick in city traffic
good point! honestly don’t think it’s that serious to be fighting manual vs auto, just let others be happy with what they have 😂 you won’t regret it as a city driver I promise
@@onsite_nate yeah bro went into limp mode coming back from a party. Had to drive home going 40mph in second gear lol. Read the codes the next day and they both point towards a failing valve body. They're 1100-2000 brand new from Nissan.

can’t go wrong with either option 👌🏼 overall it’s such a nice good looking fun car I love mine
Keep in mind also for a auto the trans is not very fast compared to other platforms on the market
6 speed, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive is a formula you simply can not beat :)
good looks, 6 speed and a rwd is definitely the standard 💪🏼

If you wanna go fast auto is better, if you want to feel more like a part of the driving mechanics manual is the way to go
Sounds exactly right, this guy must be really smart
I have a 2018 370Z NISMO tech and it's a automatic and I love it I hope you enjoy your automatic like I enjoy mine

Automatic is superior, sorry but true.
we’re rare breeds in the car world internet 💪🏼
Dude if I had the money I would in a heart beat cause I can’t drive a stick no more one reason I don’t have a m series bmw
