I would know if I paid attention to the names but I didnt. I only paid attention to the way the functions work.

I had a period in my life where I used to read about type theory allll day lol, I even checked out the book by Isabel Myers, which I can't remember the name of, that explains the theory behind mbti, and read it multiple times. For some reason it was the most interesting topic, I loved learning in detail the reasons behind why people see the world differently from me. I think it can be helpful to people who tend to get frustrated by people's differences, which is what Myers was after, I think. Harmony based on an understanding of our differences.

Your answers change on mood. Not your type. A test only works based on the answers you give. It is possible to be missed typed under the 16personities version of the test. If you want more accurate results you would have to take a functions test to determine your level of development in each function.
That’s actually one of the major criticisms of the Meyers brigg in that it has low retest consistency. So you’re not wrong in saying your personality type appears to change based on mood, it’s an unfortunate flaw of the test. It’s still an interesting system though and can be fun to consider.
@@trose5213 Its not a failure of the test as it is a impossibility to give a concrete answer to something as inconsistent as the human psyche or answering. Also the questions can be interpreted differently from person to person.

I've taken this test a couple times and the results are always intresting. Depending on wear I am in my life, I either get extrovert or introvery even though it's usually 50-50-ish. I literally always get the diplomat which I think is very true. While watching this video I got ENFJ-T the protagonist and I think that's the most true yet. I usually always get N as well
One thing that people miss about Myers Briggs is that it is based on tendencies and it's so much more than 16 combinations of "letters". The types are not absolute and you will find that there are percentages within each dichotomy. Therefore, not all INTJs like me will be the same. There's no need to put yourself in a box. Myers Briggs is about yourself and personal development.

Make sure you’re really thinking about the replies you’re giving. Apparently you’ve changed from an extrovert to an introvert between surveys. You’ve also apparently changed from someone who prefers to plan things ahead of time to someone who likes to keep all options in the air until a decision NEEDS to be made. You can see how these are contradictory. Make sure you aren’t giving responses that fit the person you wish you were or that you want to be. A lot of people do this.
I took the test various times and I always end up INTP or INTJ. I think it's because my "operating mode" is not the same for all activities or changes according to the time of the day. Ps: I'm also a Capricorn but does it have an importance in finding your type?

I was somewhat surprised to get the result of ENFP (campaigner) from doing the test but now that I think of it I do have some of those qualities. Based on your very helpful descriptions I feel as though I have some INFP (mediator) mixed in as well. I tend to think of myself as being more analytical in nature but perhaps with a little more introspection I will realize my emotions are guiding me more than I realize. We are all mercurial and complex beings in the end. These are useful categories to think about as long as they aren't treated as absolutes. For information, I am a very intuitive person, I get vibes off of people without even knowing them, and I’m always right. I got the “vibe” then I would observe to see if I was right. But it got to the point where I shut everyone out and made a wall to protect myself from ever being hurt. It was a terrible way to live

you got it a little mixed up... the explorers all share SP not SF, so they would be the ISTPs, ESTPS, ISFPs, and ESFPs. The sentinels all share SJ not ST so those are the ISTJs, ESTJs, ISFJs, and ESFJs.

Types of tests like those, we tend to answer in a way where we show ourselves as better than what we are. Try again and try to answer truthfully. Be ready to admit any of your flaws because in the end, no one else is seeing you take the rest but you! You have isfj & esfj in the explorer category when they are sentinels/guardians
And you put istp and estp as sentiels when they are explorers

I'm an XSFP. every time I take the quiz I'm smack in the middle of introvert and extrovert, maybe slightly more introverted but barely.
I have a friend who studies/writes about Introverts and extroverts. She calls that an ambivert. I can be both, also, depending on circumstances. Her name is @jenniferkahnweiler if you're interested. She has some good videos on RUclips.

Types of tests like those, we tend to answer in a way where we show ourselves as better than what we are. Try again and try to answer truthfully. Be ready to admit any of your flaws because in the end, no one else is seeing you take the rest but you! That’s how I got my result that matched me :D I went from commander to protagonist after I admitted I am a softie
The Myers Briggs test isn't accurate, there's no evidence and it is based on unproven theories. So don't worry it's not your fault or anything.
Try looking up cognitive functions.May make more sense for you.
