The big problem for me is the shear amount of demand for low density, i just cant seem to satisfy it, everything i do it just stays at max
Have to get higher paying jobs in. Lower taxes for well and highly educated.
It will push people to want to live in high density areas.
I have a video on my channel about how to fix your demand for Low Density as well.
For me it was a combo of literally everything. I made my low density smaller, going only 4 squares deep and 3 wide instead of 6. Then I added a university. As office demand rose, high rent went down. Of course, things like adding an actual hospital and TONS of parks played a part, I'm sure. Turns out this issue is larger than just a simple fix like Skylines 1 usually was.

but building a school might increase the land value resulting in rent being higher
With low density houses it won’t make a difference.
it only makes a difference with medium and high density? shit I did not know that
These "High Rent" Problems seem to me like a kind of bug or wrongly set parameters for this.....Never was able to fix it completely :D would go bankrupt in every city if i placed so many more schools etc. AND my demand is not high enough to need more schools than now :D
Well there are other things such as office jobs, and working the demand that help as well too.
@@ChasetotheFinish I have no demand in office...and the demand for low density and commercial are so astronomical and never ending. if i build new low density areas they quickly get the high rent thing too :D i am at a loss here. don't know how to fix this right, nothing seems to help. destroys the fun a bit
@linawhydra8510 and your education is good. So what you would need to do is adjust your city to get the demand.
The office taxes to be 6% will make them want to move in.
