Hi Jess, this is great timing for me! I feel I'm lucky but spreading myself too thin with small / medium galleries (wanting stock), previously taking every opportunity as a good opportunity. Now this year is overwhelming and the paintbrushes are standing still.
this is invaluable information. I bet galleries would clamour for you. I wonder if galleries also look at what kind of social media following and marketing that the artist are required to do. I know authors who get publishers are now looking to the writers to have done a lot of their own marketing to even be considered. i look forward to your videos.
Would you recommend to art supply shop to be also gallery for local artists/ space to exhibit their art. I’m sampling small business plan and I’m a bit curious of how would artist perceive such fusion.
Its a good question, Its own the cards for the future but for now using the spare time I have to paint. But for sure in the future my own gallery would be amazing!
