You are pointing out some things even Swedes are not aware of. Glad You visited us, AND! I am blown away how correct you pronounce some Swedish words/locations :)
Tack så mycket! Thank you so much for your heartwarming comments! It motivates me to do more sensible Vlogs about traveling :). Sweden has been and will always be one of my favorite destination. I like learning new languages and as much as possible will try to pronounce the words correctly so the locals who are watching will not be somehow disappointed ;).
@@alexandergustafson599 it was in Styggforsen in the Dalarna County. It is not so big, but it is a very beautiful nature reserve with a waterfall. But you can surely hike around the area.
Dalarna is indeed nice, and very, very Swedish. The name means "The valleys" and is derived from the two branches of one of Sweden's major rivers: Dalälven, which is formed by the confluence of an eastern and a western part, the confluence is a little NW of Borlänge.
Fun fact: Styggforsen that you visited was a shooting location for Ingmar Bergmans movie "The Virgin Spring" in 1960. You visited many of my favorite places in Dalarna :-). I've even done a 360 of that dock in Rättvik on one of my other channels.
Oh thanks for the new & interesting info! Im gong to check out that movie. Dalarna is an amazing place to visit regardless of the season :). What is your other channel? Or at least kindly give me a link? So i can also watch that 360 view of the Dock or Pier in Rättvik? And oh btw, that´s my fave spot in that area.

Perhaps the Swedish word "bra" should be explained 😂! It's a short "bravo" and means the same as 'bravo', "good". In Swedish it has nothing to do with underwear 😇 I can see it might look funny to none Swedish, but English speakers when we happily call out "Va' bra! 😃" or "Så bra!" (vaD bra, no one ever pronuonce the d) which is "How good!😃" or "So good!" (Vad bra = What good, by words, but not the meaning) Om någon inte vet det redan, så är "bra" en förkortning av "brassiere", alltså BH. Det kan verka lite konstigt för icke svensktalande när vi glatt hojtar "Va' bra!! / "Så bra!!" 😃 (Curiocity: The English word 'bra' is in Swedish the practically never used full word "brösthållare" or "bysthållare", 'breast holder' or 'busom holder', shorted to simply BH.)

Now this is how you should experience Sweden. Everyone just goes to Stockholm instead
Haha! Right! Thanks for your comments! Stockholm is nice as well ;).
@@myteacup1335 Yes! Stockholm is by no means bad in any way, but you haven't done Sweden right if you've just been to Stockholm :)
@@alexandergustafson599 Sure thing! Sweden is a BIG nice country! Dalarna is just one of my favorite :D
@@myteacup1335 Could you share the name of the hiking trail you went to? I'd love to go there some day!
