Having a life is so important to me sana. But also note that there are some fields within banking that require long hours even on weekends, example - investment banking. 😊

Wish you got to the point sooner, the first 9 minutes of the video were really not necessary. But the advise was good, next time please do a side-by-side comparison of the two that actually outlines the primary differences between the two, and how you’d advise someone who wants to transition from audit to banking.

Hi Emihle, I can definitely ask around but to be honest it’s all the same process. I know banks love people who studied engineering for instance. So you have a good chance no matter the industry , especially if you have your finance masters

Are the hours in banking flexible even during articles?

Hey Avu, I think it depends on the rotation as well as business unit. Some might have a more flexible schedule (like the Zebra bank), but others might be more strict as you are in essence learning still.

Hi, No. reason being that CA(SA) is more about leadership, problem-solving and decision-making which will always require a human element.
