A head of their Time part 1

This couple can be considered the Adam and Eve of what Bob Fitzgerald (co-publisher of THE RAZOR'S EDGE) named "recreational haircutting,' or at least that part of it represented by the video capturing of previously private events. In no small way this couple is the spiritual forerunner of the "My New Haircut" posters on RUclips.
Captain Stanley ordinarily would not release an anonymous video, but for the fact that various versions, all in worse quality have been circulating around the Internet for years; usually with the color removed, and sometimes without sound.
The video reached the offices of THE RAZOR'S EDGE in the late 1970's, at the dawn of the personal video taping revolution. Unfortunately, this version still suffers from the archaic abilities of the VHS videotape system.
This attractive young couple, exploring the new realm of recreational haircutting, are our equivalent of the first fish that crawled from the prehistoric seas and drew sweet air into their primitive lungs.
They saw the future and grabbed it. We salute them.

I think this world needs a Captain Stanley - whether he's the SAME Captain Stanley we met in 1978 or so is another matter...

Great video, just wish I could hear what they were saying better. I don't like forced haircuts or headshaves at all, it's awesome that she's so into it.
