,I worked at Astor barbers in 1985 -95.It was a great place to be a hairdresser..I was known as Bobbi working there and won awards representing Astor place barbershop and was also on television for them. Those are memories that l will have for the rest of my life....

Italia once appeared on a TV news broadcast where she pulled her short blonde wig off and the reporter who was interviewing her started rubbing her head. She seemed to enjoy it and laughed through the whole thing. Another time she appeared in what I believe was the New York Post smiling in all her bald glory. This woman apparently enjoyed being bald. It would be interesting to know if she's still around and still shaving her head. I believe both these episodes happened around 1981.

You are in a serious error, Tricotillomania is a disorder; Yes! But that does not mean that all women have it, many we like how the head looks shaved and I'm include. I shaved my head because I like it and I don't have Tricotillomania

Just because some women like purposely balding their heads, they shouldn't force it upon everyone else, because the majority of humankind still love having hair on their heads and thus find the very idea of a female shaving her head bald both abnormal and ugly.
