is this the way you did it? from the bottom without removing any radiator, panel or hose? and the alternator came out? if so, was this on the same kind of car on the video withe same format? with the vertical v8 engine?
@@ededi5557 oil filter? Nooo i did not have to touch that. U need to jack up the passenger side of the car really high to get enough clearance. I put my front passenger tire on a metal ramp (i never feel safe under the car with jack stands only).

Hi Ivan. How you mate ? My alternator died yesterday man. I'm not a mechanic by trade or qualification. So I've decided to get a mechanic to do it.
I removed mine without moving the fan shroud or the oil filter housing or any pulleys.

Drop a quarter in there and you’ll have a .25 cent engine
He should have told you to disconnect the battery before you start so you don't arc on the positive cable on the alternator.

I don't think you can remove the alternator without removing the fan shroud unless you are doing the job from underneath
Actually somene did it without. They removed the oil filter assembly. This is just a pain in the ass. Im omw to do this nd im already cursing
