I have a real Superbird that I bought new and the lower fender extensions came from the factory longer than the fender. That is how it is supposed to look. It always bothered me about the fit. The hood was wavy as hell brand new because it was so flat. The nose was about a half inch smaller than the fenders and hood put together, so there was a threaded rod that you adjusted to maintain the same gap on each side. These cars were thrown together from the factory. You are making it look a hundred times better than stock.
