Jesus relinquished me from my heroin addiction i prayed for it many times and kept my faith in God. Evil tried to break and manipulate me thank you heavenly father.

Amen. I was an addict for many years. Alcoholic too by the end. And without Jesus, I have no doubt in my mind I’d be dead right now. I thank the Lord He saw fit to give me one more chance and never gave up on me. We serve an amazing, awesome, wonderful God that there’s really no human words to describe His goodness. I’m so glad you were freed from that prison too!
I was pressured to speak in tongues when I was 19. I’d gone to a revival with my college roommate and went to the altar after the sermon was over because I wanted someone to pray for me. Several others were also at the altar. The pastor said a prayer and afterwards asked all of us to stand next to each other in a line. One by one he went to each person and after putting his palm on their forehead, the person uttered some gibberish and fell out (a person that was behind them caught them and laid them on the ground). When the pastor got to me, I could feel the palm of his hand PRESSING into my forehead trying to push me off balance. At the same time he was in my ear telling me to close my eyes and open my mouth, but “don’t speak English”. I’m swinging my arms wildly to keep my balance. Since I wanted this man (and his breath) to get away from me, I asked God to forgive me and shouted YABBLA YABBLA YABBLA!!! All that to say, I was absolutely faking it.
I went to a church that claimed no one was saved if they didn't speak in tongues... I got baptized there and I thought- I had faith, surely I would start to speak in tongues- but weeks later after my baptism... still nothing. I even tried to make myself speak in tongues, like if I just started saying any old gibberish the Holy Spirit would take over, but it was never not me, and I felt so ridiculous. I knew it was me making up the gibberish. The thing is, I can see how if I had stuck around and kept "trying" I might start to believe it was coming from the Holy Ghost, and I think that happens to a lot of people.
Yes, I myself experienced something similar. After a service, going to the altar asking for prayer, while having someone speaking gibberish in my 👂🏿 try to get me to "let loose" and speak in tongues. N o matter how hard and long I did, I couldn't or wouldn't, "speak in tongues" 🤔💯

Many don't realise where their suffering is coming from - it's coming from the pulpit or the Bible teacher in whom they have placed their confidence.
Many, not all, Christians place a strong emphasis on men and women of God, instead of God Himself for healing, deliverance, and prophesy. God's Word is sufficient - read His word instead of looking for healing (His Word), deliverance (His Word), and prophesy (His Word) from men. It's like a "high" that wans, and the person keeps going back to the dealer for a spiritual "fix".

Seeking signs and wonders then add a layer of desiring power without seeking and desiring the one who gives us those things to strengthen that faith muscle and perfecting us. Is what I’ve seen growing up in the church for almost 38 years.
I speak in tongues, but I didn't always. And I remember being in church and everyone around me was speaking and I felt left out. That day in that very service I was telling the Lord how mad I was. Lol! And after that same moment, I repented of my anger, and it was then that I suddenly began to speak in tongues.
@itsbriana9304 I will say this- If and when I hear a person speaking another language sometimes, I do not know what language it is. Most times I do not understand it. I do not know all the languages in the world. However, *God understands all languages*. And he gave me an ability to speak a language TO HIM that he understands. And oftentimes, God allows me understand what it is that I am praying. Hope this helps. 😊
@shirleycarpenter3682 praying alone, yes. Did I hear God's voice audibly? No. An example I will give is when I pray in tongues, I hear myself saying "Abba," which I know is Hebrew for "Father". There's scripture that supports this in Galatians 4:6. It talks about the Spirit of his Son, which he sent into our hearts crying abba, father. I also hear myself saying the names of God like Adonai, while in my heart, I'm saying Lord. Also, when I'm praying in tongues and have a particular person in my heart, although I'm praying in tongues, I hear the words in English in my mind, and then the name of the person also comes out of my mouth. The first time I ever said "Abba" while speaking in tongues was astonishing and beautiful, and for me, FURTHER evidence that I have the Spirit of His son Jesus. The Holy Spirit whom he sent. Who He promised to us. This is simply my experience. God does great and wonderful things. For some, he does this, and for some, he does that. He's awesome and faithful. Maybe this is something he knew I needed and graciously gave it to me.
Lord, deliver me from the disrespectful demonic agents that surround me. Come in the room and see me watching and listening to this video. The reason I don't tell people I'm a Christian now is people that say I'm a Christian today know nothing about being a true Christian. So I prefer saying I'm a follower of my Lord and Savior Jesus.
Exodus 34:6-7; Deuteronomy 5:8-10 are the Scriptures that embrace the concept of generational curses/sins. What does this mean, and what does it not mean? There are certain sinful tendencies or proclivities in family lines. Alcoholism, drug addiction, lust, greed, incest, etc. Additionally, the reap what you sow principal can affect generations. Not just spiritually, but practically as well. Poor choices in education, poor financial planning, unprotected casual sex, criminal activity, etc, not only affect you, but your entire family. Again, in the natural, medical history is important, as it can determine what you may or not be at risk for in the future. The same appears to be true spiritually, considering sinful tendencies/proclivities. The children/ generations don’t bear responsibility for their elders, but are still affected by it. It’s not truly a “curse” curse, but a spiritual consequence nonetheless.

I have an example of the Holy Spirit being in someone. I was doing some community outreach with a group and a lady started lashing out at one of the people in our group. A man in our group came over, deescalate the situation and before I knew it he was praying over the woman lashing out. The atmosphere totally changed and was very calm. That was the Holy Spirit. Whenever I am tempted to sin, but don’t, the Holy Spirit is working in me. It’s not always a show.
Hello, I am a bit ambivalent to this podcast due to my own experience of a supernatural encounter!! That wasn’t fake and indeed was demonic in which I needed to be “delivered” or for better terms Prayed for!! I experienced this and it wasn’t fake, made up, or a show!! I needed help and I’m so humble to have gone to the right ministry that was educated and equipped to deal with it!! I’m a totally changed person! My God if I would have heard this message and not gotten help where would my life even be today!! Thank you Jesus for helping those who have been affected by generational curses, witchcraft, demonic oppression it’s real, thank God you didn’t experience this! I am fairly rational thinking person yet I wad spiritually attacked and encountered demonic presences, there was not direct or any rational formula to set me free yet the very WORD of God he is bearing witness to on this video Is the same WORD of God that set me free !!!
The Bible says, who Jesus sets free is free indeed. Therefore if you're a born again believer, you can't have a demon possessing you. The Bible says there are no generational curses, everyone is judged according to their own sins and faces their own consequences. If you were possessed or had demons, you weren't saved yet. Bottom line. The Bible makes this clear. No one that is saved has a demon within. Jesus is the stronger man, and the Holy Spirit doesn't leave us empty for unclean spirits to enter once He enters. So I can believe you were made clean, but you weren't saved beforehand if so. People believe things that aren't true all the time, psychosomatic. You can get symptoms even if you're not sick because you believe it... you can believe you're saved even if you're not. Your experiences or what you thought was the case doesn't trump what the Bible says is true. Yours or mine or anyone's. It only matters if what we say aligns with God's Word.

It wasn’t until I left that environment as an adult where I knew something was wrong inside my heart!!! According to research there are millions of testimonies from around the world of people who where either born into the occult or practiced in the occult, some knowingly, and some unbeknown to them like witchcraft which by definition means manipulation of many sorts, many of them once they accept Christ as their Lord and Savior begin to have demonic attacks!!! I experienced things also, I think it's generational in way of saying your family is susceptible because not being taught or proclivity to these things just like any other family. You see and do whatever you're around in sense.... So we pickup those things from our people. I think we experienced those demonic attacks because of our sin, when we sin the serpent 🐍 has a right to bite. Some things we have to speak the word of God against, and yes have people prayer over and with us. We have to seek deliverance through knowledge other saved people, the word of God, and trusting the strength of Jesus that's in US to get over whatever is affecting/afflicting us. It's a little confusing but with our hearing and asking God For understanding we'll get it. As long as we're seeking his WORD and healing, we can be delivered 🤗 While i/ We are in the battle it's good to know some things we bring on ourselves, some things we are just demonically influenced by because of upbringing and our sinful desires. Discernment is key. Asking for wisdom in our matters is beneficial, we can look for it through more than one teacher and some things will take time depending on the person and the place they're at in their walk. There is layers and we need Time to be delivered..... The holy Spirit will lead us to all truth 🎉
Wow!! I was shocked to hear you say that all the world’s religions are going to hell. This is what God revealed to me in 2017 when he set me free from the institutional church system. God speaks to us through his Word. The only way to know God and what it is that he requires of us is through daily prayer, personal Bible study, and obey Christ teachings. This is how we build our relationship with God.
I am so glad someone seems to speak what I thought. I am led to where God sends me and not just any place not made of man’s hand. Yet, I will honor God by reading his word and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me in a building and out of one. While some things I don't follow with him, he does make sense with alot of things. He opens your eyes to the spiritual side of things. We still should seek scriptures and try to get a better understanding. That's why I follow and watch others to see and get their input into what some scriptures mean. While not everyone knows how to take points in certain situations, I still believe he has a purpose in some things he teaches.

Yes...been there. Finally, got over it. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit was to empower us to WITNESS. And should I be the one to witness to someone who does not speak my language, then just as on the Day of Pentecost, I firmly believe the Holy Spirit will empower me to speak the language of that person or as I speak my language they will hear the translation into their language.
So I went to a church like this and I was new to being a Christian and they did a "deliverance" on me and my knee buckled so they made this big deal like it was the Holy Spirit and sat me down but i didnt feel the urge to run, jump and scream like everyone else so when i got home I kept praying to God asking if it was something wrong with me or if I was tripping or if I was being led wrong because when I was there something didnt feel right and the Holy Spirit allowed me to prophesy and that never happened to me before I only knew it was a prophecy when i read my bible and it explained what it was everything that I saw and heard happened literally 5 minutes later so I fell into what the church was saying because "EVERYONE" was prophetic but I later found out that they were lying and telling people a prophecy is god telling you something to give another person conformation so they'll know that its true and the prophecy that they would give would be something that anyone could relate to and the prophecy that I saw and heard was very detailed it didnt leave me guessing or filling in the blanks I was sitting there thinking i was thats so raven having visions 😂 but long story short after praying and asking god if i was tripping he led me to you and all things theology also im looking for a new church

I was pressured to speak in tongues at a revival years ago, in front of the church. I had the most nervous feeling in my stomach and started sweating because all eyes were focused on me. I tried but it sounded nothing like the other few the prophetess has chose, and it was like I was ridiculed because I didn't succeed.
Can someone explain what happened to me. My Uncle had been in the hospital for two weeks and the doctors couldn't find what his problem or diagnosis. I had a pull in my spirit to make the hour drive and pray with him. I went and asked him if I could prayfor him? He said yes, please! This was ten years ago and he will tell people that I healed him. I don't believe this and have told the people especially in the family that I didn't heal him Jesus healed him. I was just the vessel but Jesus was the healer and not me. Now the family wants me to go pray for people that are sick. Imagine how I feel because I can't get people to understand that I don't heal, Jesus does.
Corey, I agree with you on how you've explained it but is it wrong for me to believe that Generational curses do happen but not as God cursing the children for their parents sins! I believe that we are products of our environment to a larger degree and as we are created in the image of God and His likeness, we are also created in the image of our parents as in, we learn from them. If you are raised in a family who say, abuse drugs, are loose with their bodies, rife with divorce and no respect for marriage, no obedience to parents and sexuality, do you not think that this will be seen as the norm to the children and they are more prone to repeat this? Could this be termed as a generational curse?
We don’t need a person to break it we need to only repent and give our life to Christ and when we love and obey Him we will break that pattern of living in disobedience to God ❤
I believe you hit on a good description of it. And again, as we are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and realize we need to change, that is how these strongholds get identified and broken in our lives.

You're not supose to give to get from God. You give because it's what God expects for us as Christians to do. Give with a cheerful heart. Not grudgingly. It's better to give than to receive. Most people give to God to receive something from him. And that's why many are not being blessed.
If anybody wants to tangibly encounter the Holy Spirit like this, you simply need to surrender everything. You must let God take you through a Sanctification process. You will not encounter the Holy Spirit like this if you’re still living in habitual sin. Adam and Eve were not cursed. The serpent was cursed. (Genesis 3:13-) He cursed the ground (Genesis 3:17). Adam and Eve died...not physically right away but spiritually. There were consequences for their disobedience. (Genesis 3:18) (Genesis 3: 17). Because Adam disobeyed the ground was curse and therefore Adam had to labor hard to produce food.

I was pressured to speak in tongues when I was 19. I’d gone to a revival with my college roommate and went to the altar after the sermon was over because I wanted someone to pray for me. Several others were also at the altar. The pastor said a prayer and afterwards asked all of us to stand next to each other in a line. One by one he went to each person and after putting his palm on their forehead, the person uttered some gibberish and fell out (a person that was behind them caught them and laid them on the ground). When the pastor got to me, I could feel the palm of his hand PRESSING into my forehead trying to push me off balance. At the same time he was in my ear telling me to close my eyes and open my mouth, but “don’t speak English”. I’m swinging my arms wildly to keep my balance. Since I wanted this man (and his breath) to get away from me, I asked God to forgive me and shouted YABBLA YABBLA YABBLA!!! All that to say, I was absolutely faking it.

I went to a church that claimed no one was saved if they didn't speak in tongues... I got baptized there and I thought- I had faith, surely I would start to speak in tongues- but weeks later after my baptism... still nothing. I even tried to make myself speak in tongues, like if I just started saying any old gibberish the Holy Spirit would take over, but it was never not me, and I felt so ridiculous. I knew it was me making up the gibberish. The thing is, I can see how if I had stuck around and kept "trying" I might start to believe it was coming from the Holy Ghost, and I think that happens to a lot of people.
Yes, I myself experienced something similar. After a service, going to the altar asking for prayer, while having someone speaking gibberish in my 👂🏿 try to get me to "let loose" and speak in tongues. N o matter how hard and long I did, I couldn't or wouldn't, "speak in tongues" 🤔💯

@shirleycarpenter3682 praying alone, yes. Did I hear God's voice audibly? No. An example I will give is when I pray in tongues, I hear myself saying "Abba," which I know is Hebrew for "Father". There's scripture that supports this in Galatians 4:6. It talks about the Spirit of his Son, which he sent into our hearts crying abba, father. I also hear myself saying the names of God like Adonai, while in my heart, I'm saying Lord. Also, when I'm praying in tongues and have a particular person in my heart, although I'm praying in tongues, I hear the words in English in my mind, and then the name of the person also comes out of my mouth. The first time I ever said "Abba" while speaking in tongues was astonishing and beautiful, and for me, FURTHER evidence that I have the Spirit of His son Jesus. The Holy Spirit whom he sent. Who He promised to us. This is simply my experience. God does great and wonderful things. For some, he does this, and for some, he does that. He's awesome and faithful. Maybe this is something he knew I needed and graciously gave it to me.

Exodus 34:6-7; Deuteronomy 5:8-10 are the Scriptures that embrace the concept of generational curses/sins. What does this mean, and what does it not mean? There are certain sinful tendencies or proclivities in family lines. Alcoholism, drug addiction, lust, greed, incest, etc. Additionally, the reap what you sow principal can affect generations. Not just spiritually, but practically as well. Poor choices in education, poor financial planning, unprotected casual sex, criminal activity, etc, not only affect you, but your entire family. Again, in the natural, medical history is important, as it can determine what you may or not be at risk for in the future. The same appears to be true spiritually, considering sinful tendencies/proclivities. The children/ generations don’t bear responsibility for their elders, but are still affected by it. It’s not truly a “curse” curse, but a spiritual consequence nonetheless.

I have an example of the Holy Spirit being in someone. I was doing some community outreach with a group and a lady started lashing out at one of the people in our group. A man in our group came over, deescalate the situation and before I knew it he was praying over the woman lashing out. The atmosphere totally changed and was very calm. That was the Holy Spirit.
Whenever I am tempted to sin, but don’t, the Holy Spirit is working in me. It’s not always a show.
Hello, I am a bit ambivalent to this podcast due to my own experience of a supernatural encounter!! That wasn’t fake and indeed was demonic in which I needed to be “delivered” or for better terms Prayed for!! I experienced this and it wasn’t fake, made up, or a show!! I needed help and I’m so humble to have gone to the right ministry that was educated and equipped to deal with it!! I’m a totally changed person! My God if I would have heard this message and not gotten help where would my life even be today!! Thank you Jesus for helping those who have been affected by generational curses, witchcraft, demonic oppression it’s real, thank God you didn’t experience this! I am fairly rational thinking person yet I wad spiritually attacked and encountered demonic presences, there was not direct or any rational formula to set me free yet the very WORD of God he is bearing witness to on this video Is the same WORD of God that set me free !!!
The Bible says, who Jesus sets free is free indeed. Therefore if you're a born again believer, you can't have a demon possessing you. The Bible says there are no generational curses, everyone is judged according to their own sins and faces their own consequences. If you were possessed or had demons, you weren't saved yet. Bottom line. The Bible makes this clear. No one that is saved has a demon within. Jesus is the stronger man, and the Holy Spirit doesn't leave us empty for unclean spirits to enter once He enters. So I can believe you were made clean, but you weren't saved beforehand if so. People believe things that aren't true all the time, psychosomatic. You can get symptoms even if you're not sick because you believe it... you can believe you're saved even if you're not. Your experiences or what you thought was the case doesn't trump what the Bible says is true. Yours or mine or anyone's. It only matters if what we say aligns with God's Word.

I experienced things also, I think it's generational in way of saying your family is susceptible because not being taught or proclivity to these things just like any other family. You see and do whatever you're around in sense.... So we pickup those things from our people. I think we experienced those demonic attacks because of our sin, when we sin the serpent 🐍 has a right to bite. Some things we have to speak the word of God against, and yes have people prayer over and with us. We have to seek deliverance through knowledge other saved people, the word of God, and trusting the strength of Jesus that's in US to get over whatever is affecting/afflicting us. It's a little confusing but with our hearing and asking God For understanding we'll get it. As long as we're seeking his WORD and healing, we can be delivered 🤗
While i/ We are in the battle it's good to know some things we bring on ourselves, some things we are just demonically influenced by because of upbringing and our sinful desires. Discernment is key. Asking for wisdom in our matters is beneficial, we can look for it through more than one teacher and some things will take time depending on the person and the place they're at in their walk.
There is layers and we need Time to be delivered..... The holy Spirit will lead us to all truth 🎉
Wow!! I was shocked to hear you say that all the world’s religions are going to hell. This is what God revealed to me in 2017 when he set me free from the institutional church system. God speaks to us through his Word. The only way to know God and what it is that he requires of us is through daily prayer, personal Bible study, and obey Christ teachings. This is how we build our relationship with God.

While some things I don't follow with him, he does make sense with alot of things. He opens your eyes to the spiritual side of things. We still should seek scriptures and try to get a better understanding. That's why I follow and watch others to see and get their input into what some scriptures mean. While not everyone knows how to take points in certain situations, I still believe he has a purpose in some things he teaches.
I listen to most things and try to get an understanding, but I don't follow everything.

Yes...been there. Finally, got over it. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit was to empower us to WITNESS. And should I be the one to witness to someone who does not speak my language, then just as on the Day of Pentecost, I firmly believe the Holy Spirit will empower me to speak the language of that person or as I speak my language they will hear the translation into their language.
So I went to a church like this and I was new to being a Christian and they did a "deliverance" on me and my knee buckled so they made this big deal like it was the Holy Spirit and sat me down but i didnt feel the urge to run, jump and scream like everyone else so when i got home I kept praying to God asking if it was something wrong with me or if I was tripping or if I was being led wrong because when I was there something didnt feel right and the Holy Spirit allowed me to prophesy and that never happened to me before I only knew it was a prophecy when i read my bible and it explained what it was everything that I saw and heard happened literally 5 minutes later so I fell into what the church was saying because "EVERYONE" was prophetic but I later found out that they were lying and telling people a prophecy is god telling you something to give another person conformation so they'll know that its true and the prophecy that they would give would be something that anyone could relate to and the prophecy that I saw and heard was very detailed it didnt leave me guessing or filling in the blanks I was sitting there thinking i was thats so raven having visions 😂 but long story short after praying and asking god if i was tripping he led me to you and all things theology also im looking for a new church

I was pressured to speak in tongues at a revival years ago, in front of the church. I had the most nervous feeling in my stomach and started sweating because all eyes were focused on me. I tried but it sounded nothing like the other few the prophetess has chose, and it was like I was ridiculed because I didn't succeed.

Can someone explain what happened to me. My Uncle had been in the hospital for two weeks and the doctors couldn't find what his problem or diagnosis. I had a pull in my spirit to make the hour drive and pray with him. I went and asked him if I could prayfor him? He said yes, please! This was ten years ago and he will tell people that I healed him. I don't believe this and have told the people especially in the family that I didn't heal him Jesus healed him. I was just the vessel but Jesus was the healer and not me. Now the family wants me to go pray for people that are sick. Imagine how I feel because I can't get people to understand that I don't heal, Jesus does.
Remember in the parable: THEY ALL SLEPT (the foolish AND the wise virgins)
Corey, I agree with you on how you've explained it but is it wrong for me to believe that Generational curses do happen but not as God cursing the children for their parents sins!
I believe that we are products of our environment to a larger degree and as we are created in the image of God and His likeness, we are also created in the image of our parents as in, we learn from them.
If you are raised in a family who say, abuse drugs, are loose with their bodies, rife with divorce and no respect for marriage, no obedience to parents and sexuality, do you not think that this will be seen as the norm to the children and they are more prone to repeat this?
Could this be termed as a generational curse?
We don’t need a person to break it we need to only repent and give our life to Christ and when we love and obey Him we will break that pattern of living in disobedience to God ❤
I believe you hit on a good description of it. And again, as we are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and realize we need to change, that is how these strongholds get identified and broken in our lives.
We need spiritual policemen like Corey, those with a platform can reach more people with teaching discernment and calling out this foolishness!

You're not supose to give to get from God. You give because it's what God expects for us as Christians to do. Give with a cheerful heart. Not grudgingly. It's better to give than to receive. Most people give to God to receive something from him. And that's why many are not being blessed.
If anybody wants to tangibly encounter the Holy Spirit like this, you simply need to surrender everything. You must let God take you through a Sanctification process. You will not encounter the Holy Spirit like this if you’re still living in habitual sin. Give God more time in prayer, praise and worship, in scripture, and let Him remove those things that are coming in between you and God.

Things are so backward in the Church that when people encounter the truth, they think it's a lie.
We CAN be delivered from depression or anxiety or anything with PRAISE. HENCE exchange your garment of HEAVINESS for the garment of PRAISE. We are delivered from death but while we are working out our salvation with fear and trembling the HOLY SPIRIT is working on us by showing us our wrong ways and he definitely delivers us from evil by praise and worship. Holy Spirit can turn you right around by His word. I do appreciate your teachings.
True, the Bible says that all of the gifts, and ministries given by God is for edification of the church or the brethren not for our own selfish reasons or pride. Man, the Letter of Corinthians is awesome and talks about all these things. Amen.

This lesson really confused me. It really contradicts what I was taught my entire life. Generational curses through the bloodline is a frequent topic for pastors to preach on. The idea that my family could be afflicted for the sins of their father and or ancestors terrifies me and keeps me focused on Our Lord and Savior. If they do exist it stops with me, Lord willing. Some come to this channel to learn. It’s not that I am stupid, I am an imperfect sheep searching for truth with a ⬆️ credit score. Now, I know that isn’t found nowhere in the word, Sir 😂. I am going to pray about it and study more. I have always loved learning in general and the name calling hurt my feelings too. May you all be blessed with great health, peace and prosperity.

What about Adam and Eve. Have we not inherited curses put on them.
Adam and Eve were not cursed. The serpent was cursed. (Genesis 3:13-)
He cursed the ground (Genesis 3:17). Adam and Eve died...not physically right away but spiritually. There were consequences for their disobedience. (Genesis 3:18) (Genesis 3: 17). Because Adam disobeyed the ground was curse and therefore Adam had to labor hard to produce food.
Woman have painful birth and men have to toil the earth to live to this day
There is more to it than that. Following The sin of Eve all women bear children painfully to this day and because of Adam listening to Eve all man earn a living by the sweat of their brow till this day. We have this because of our sinful nature. We not taking about death here.
Actually adam eve and the serpent was cursed . To understand the serpent curse constantly needing to devour dust you have to go to the fall of Lucifer from heaven .
The dust is us , we come from dust , lucifer was cursed to always wanna devour the dusk or our flesh but never able to devour the soul .
